Isn't this a standard AA alkaline battery?0
-
No, sorry. It's a tiny button battery.0
-
Does it have any reference number on it? Or has it been soldered so that this is invisible?0
-
Is it tagged (i.e. does it have legs attached by which it is soldered to a circuit board)? If so, Farnell sell them - made by Varta - at £3.66 each.0

The £ shops sell cards of various sized button cells.0

No, sorry, not reference numbers. It has another line of writing on the green plastic, which says "CHARGE 4mA 14h"
It doesn't have legs. It is connected to the circuit board by two vaguely horse shaped prongs rising out of the board. It's VERY firmly held by these two prongs, and I'm not sure if it's soldered to these prongs or not.0 -

It's probably spot-welded to the prongs. If so these are the legs referred to above. Does it look similar to the right-hand one in the picture here:

If so, it's soldered in place. Not hard to replace if you're used to that sort of thing, but a pain if you're not.
The £ shop batteries will either be alkaline/silver oxide watch batteries, or Lithium coin cells, and won't be suitable.0 -
Wow. That is it exactly. Thanks!0

Being rechargeable batteries, does anyone know how I can recharge them?0
