Amazon Kindle fiasco - anyone else caught up in it?

I ordered mine on the 11th August and at that time they said would be dispatched on or before 8th September. I was getting worried about this as I had heard a lot about delays on the Amazon forums but true to their word it has been dispatched today.....exactly as they said it would be. Should arrive tomorrow as I used a free trial of Amazon Prime to get expediated delivery free

Mine is fine - no crashing/reboot issues here.

The only thing I don't like is whilst you can group books into "collections" you cannot sub divide these "collections" so I now have an awful lot of collections and a home page which is actually 3 pages long.

I ordered mine on the 8th August for dispatch around the 8th, it was delivered on the 4th. Really happy with it and no problems as yet!!

might trial newspapers- I think you get a 14day trial on these so will give it a go, the other thing I might try is using the free calibre software-Im led to believe you can get it to look for news and download it to your kindle every day free of charge
