Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Open malwarebytes and goto UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated goto SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Remove everything thats found (needs to be ticked)
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds

    reboot
Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/2894/
Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)

if you are struggling, download these applications via the laptop onto a memory stick. Plug the memory stick into the desktop computer and run them from there.

DON'T put the memory stick back into the laptop, until you are sure everything is clean.
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)

ok - update - download successful - latest update downloaded - scan started - 6 infected objects found so far - 9 minutes into scan - currently scanning adobe software in c drive.

virus seems to have originated via adobe - virus targetted adobe software including photoshop, after affects, premier and sound booth. It has now erased these and has spread to other software.

If it's a big full hard-drive it could take a couple of hours. Get a coffee/beer/wine, we'll check back later :)
