Are PAC code requests recorded in the system?

Having been on the phone with Orange (overseas call centre!) I'm not sure whether I was being fully understood and so I was wondering if anyone here confidently knew the answer to this..
(Ignore how and why this could happen without me knowing).
If a PAC code for my number had been requested in the past month, the network would be able to tell me, right?
I'm assuming such requests are always noted in the account and easily accessible by call centre staff?
