Firefox Issue

Got a problem with Firefox; If I open up the browser then close it down and try and open it again a bit later, I get the messag" Firefox is already running, close down or reboot" There doesn't appear to be a window open or anything I can close down and I need to reboot to get back into Firefox. Can anyone help? Thanks

I find this can happen if I try to run FF too soon i.e. while the OS is still finishing loading. It is not the only application that does this and XP seems much more prone than Vista. Wait until your OS is fully loaded before running applications. If it does happen, you can indeed close the process in Program Manager.
