Returns period for iPhone bought from Apple?

Hello,

I'd be grateful if anyone could set me right on this one.

I've an iPhone 4 scheduled for delivery from Apple next week. However, I am confused about the returns period I have for a no quibble return. The website says 14 days after delivery, however the order confirmation states both 14 and 30 days one after the other.

Anyone able to advise on this. I'd really appreciate any helpp you could offer.

Thanks in advance.

  • Distance Selling Regulations is the 14-day period. Not sure what the 30-day period is, could be to cover the "grip-of-death" issue.

Distance seller regulations is actually 7 days from the day after the date of delivery. So if you receive it on Monday it must be rejected by Wednesday the following week.

  • Ignore the distance selling regulations. Apple have offered a 30 day no quibble return on all iPhone 4 handsets until 30 September. Any iPhone 4 ordered from Apple before 1 October comes with the 30 day return period.

    Hi,

Thanks very much for taking the time to reply. Thanks also for the confirmation of the 30-day returns period. I have a medical condition that could make me unable to use the iPhone, so it's good to know I won't be trapped with t if that turns out to be true.

Also, to the poster who mentioned the DSR, I didn't know it was 7 working days not 7 calendar days, so I learnt something new there as well.

    All the best,

    Hussein.
