Normally I just get them by email. Though it's not unheard of to get them through the post. Usually when they start arriving through the post that means your address has made it onto what is known colloquially as a 'suckers list'. In most cases this only happens if you respond to a scam (by sending them money).
If you do start getting lots of them, then consider joining the junk mail preference service. On the positive side, you now might have a free source of firelighters/bird cage or cat litter tray lining...
