Then I shall send you something lavendery when it's dried Beannie
Pooky, I have a huge lavender plant (bush?) in my garden - in simple words, bearing in mind the extent of my green-fingeredness is mowing the lawns occasionally, what do I do to dry it out?
Sounds like a silly question, I know.
Also, I almost had an NSD today except that Ryan stung me for a Macdonalds as a treat for 6 weeks of going to his childminder without a single meltdown.
I did a bit of shopping too, but it was £29 instead of the usual £70+ I have been spending per week recently.
Starting to feel like tackling my finances is possible. :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
:rotfl: I love your kids Bunny!
Happy birthday Beanie, did you get anything nice?

Me too Snags.
Then, DD starts asking MIL why she doesn't drive etc and MIL says, well, when you are old enough you can drive me around sweetheart, and DD replies 'if you aren't dead by then'. OMG. I just sat there with my head in my hands...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Snaggs - Cut the head stems so that they're about a foot long, bundle them up into big handfulls (with all the heads in the same direction) and put the bundle, head (flower) first into a paper bag (I make bags out of newspaper), tie them up tight and hang somewhere dry and warm for a couple of months....You'll know when they're really dry as you can shake the bag and hear all the flower heads drop off. You can then just run your hand along the stems to take the rest of the flower heads off."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0

Snags - I've only started using newspaper since DH hasn't been at work and able to supply me with A4 envelopes (which work just as well)....and the nice lady next door gives me all her newspaper.....cheap is good!!!"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
