BB - I did word processing at RSA stage one level when I did my GCSE's but we didn't deviate from Word....you only got to do more exciting stuff if you did Computer studies, which clashed with Art so I couldn't do both.

I did my RSA exams on a big old clonky typewriter :o There was 1 word processor between the 2 typing rooms at school but it was rarely used. Far too modern!!

Computers hadn't been invented when I went to school. I learnt how to type! One of the most useful things I ever learnt!

I did RSA typing too - our teacher was an utter saddist and used to make us wear a blindfold....we used to get a short sharp tap across the knuckles with a wooden ruler if we tried to use the wrong fingers.

The typewriters used to pull up from under a desk - it was like magic....well for the first lesson :D
