I did RSA typing too - our teacher was an utter saddist and used to make us wear a blindfold....we used to get a short sharp tap across the knuckles with a wooden ruler if we tried to use the wrong fingers.
The typewriters used to pull up from under a desk - it was like magic....well for the first lesson
Our teacher tippexed the keys out so we couldn't see them.

I have to agree that typing was probably the most important thing I've ever done. Who needs O levels, A levels and a degree - my RSA 2 in typing has been much more use on a day to day basis!!!!

Hellooooo!
Happy Birthday Beaniebabe x
What a funny 'ol day. My darling kids have come out with some cracking comments....
Driving home in the car today from the beach and we go over a hump in the road (the kind that makes your belly go funny like on a roller coaster) and DD says 'oooooh, that made my china tickle!' so I exclaim, shocked and dismayed (as in car with MIL/FIL) 'F****a!' and she replies 'oops, sorry Mom, I mean it makes my VAGINA feel funny!'
....I dont know where my kids get this from...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0
