Thanks for starting the thread! I've been off for a bit, but this week looks like:

Sat - mushroom stroganoff with rice - new for me!
Sunday - veggie mince pasta bake
Monday - veggie goulash with chive dumplings
Tuesday - maybe out, if not left overs
Wednesday - butternut squash soup - I'll be making a vat and saving some for the freezer, as I'm getting my wisdom teeth out in two weeks so want a soup stash!
    Thursday - mushroom risotto
Friday - pasta with aubergine sauce (this is sooo scrummy, by the way, let me know if anyone wants the recipe!)

Sides are salads or steamed veg (broccoli etc) and lunches are leftovers.

Ooooh yes please - this is a vegetable I rarely eat and in an attempt to get more deffernt veg in my diet I have been experimenting :D Made a rather odd soup with it a week or 2 ago (and put some in the freezer) but this sounds like it could be a good addition

Well, hopefully this weeks menu will be something like this, am sure will have changed my mind by tomorrow:cool:

Su-roast pork, potatoes, carrots with cauli cheese and spring greens
Mo-thai red pork curry with aubergine and rice
Tu-pork and brocolli lasagne, salad, maybe garlic bread
We-Salad nicoise (with HG green beans, spuds and tomatoes :j)
    Th-spagetti with beef ragu, salad.
Fr-smoked haddock chowder, crusty brown bread
Sa-I'm out for dinner, OH working not sure if days or nights, so something from freezer for him.
Su-poss roast-depends if OH on days or nights

Am hoping the pork will do the 2 of us 3 meals, but we have a friend over today, so it may not quite make it-will be making the tomato and white sauce for the lasagne today too (white sauce will make big batch of -cauli cheese +the lasagne sauce yum yum)

Haven't done this in a while, so I hope you don't mind me popping back :) Here's the mealplans chez Kitchenbunny this week:

Sun: Toad in the hole with beans
Mon: Chilli con carne with sauteed potatoes (would do rice but DH prefers something crispy with the chilli texture)
Tues: Not sure, probably tomato soup with croutons and a bread roll
Weds: Again, not sure - Mum is cooking
    Thurs: Chicken curry with rice
    Fri: Lasagne
Sat: Not sure yet (haven't planned that far!)

Breakfasts are cereal or toast, and lunch as always is sandwiches or leftovers. :)

    Have a good week, everyone.

Here is the aubergine recipie - oh my it is so good, its now a weekly addition. As long as yo can get some reasonable sun dried toms (Mr S has them for about £1.5 a packet) its MSE too, and scrummy enough for serving to company: http://www.salon.com/food/francis_lam/2010/06/25/eggplant_pasta_sauce_recipe

    Hya everyone,
I'm liking the sound of the aubergine recipe but our aubergines seem to have stopped producing- saved the recipe anyway.
Changed plan from last week to make Thurs Cottage pie as that suited DD1 best and as she makes it I do not argue.
Fri - chicken stir fry with noodles
Sat - boiled bacon & cabbage with hg potatoes - made lentil soup with lo veg & bacon water
Sun - lentil soup, roast chicken, hm stuffing, boiled new pots from garden and hg runner beans, make chicken soup with carcass and leftovers.
Mon - having visitors so Beef better than roast and all the trimmings
Tues - steak and chicken fajitas and chilli kitchen inaccessible so had Chinese take-awau
Wed - leftovers big bolognese made with better than roast gravy, some made into chilli with home grown haricot beans
Thurs - steak & hm peppercorn sauce, hm wedges & mushrooms think this will be fajitas
Fri - not sure yet. There may be leftovers to make into a lasagne type thing or freezer ... 'coz of changes think this will be steak
Sat - expect to be eating out
    Have a good week all

I'm very late this week, but here's my plan (this week has changed quite a lot, so i'll try and do better next week!) Mine will run from Monday.

I picked up a piece of pork last night. I very rarely eat it, but it was a bargain and I fancied a roast, so will chop it in two and roast half and attempt to get the other half in my freezer.

Monday - roast pork with all the trimmings

Tuesday - meeting a friend so going out somewhere - had scampi, chips and peas

Wednesday - [STRIKE]pan fried cod with roasted vegetables[/STRIKE] chicken burger in pitta with salad

Thursday - [STRIKE]sausage pasta bake with garlic bread / chickpea, spinach and tomato curry with cous cous[/STRIKE] out again - had chargrilled chicken with piri piri sauce

Friday - [STRIKE]vegetable bake with chips and mini corn on the cob[/STRIKE]sausage pasta bake with garlic bread

Saturday - chicken, gammon and vegetable pie

Sunday - chicken/pork stir fry with noodles

A few quick meals this week purely to use up some things I have in the freezer as it doesn't seem to be going down at all. I might swap Saturday and Sunday depending what i'm doing.

Have changed a couple of days as wanted to use a piece of cod I have. To be totally honest, it's stinking my freezer out despite being double bagged so it's time it was eaten! Oops, changed again! I'll decide on Thursdays meal on the morning as not sure which one to have. Both are made and frozen so it's easy either way.

OK changed a lot again. It's been a strange couple of weeks.
