My neighbour's house has had one viewing in five weeks. Is this usual? The area is popular and the house is immaculate.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

  • i would say if only one viewing in 5 weeks must be overpriced. depends on how fast they want to sell....
  • The first thought that comes to mind is overpriced, if all factors are as you say.

  • The asking price is too high and it's not tempting enough viewings.

  • Sorry the link doesn't work.

I thought it was about £15k overpriced (I've not mentioned this to them as they say they are not going tto reduce the price under any circumstances), but just wanted to clarify my thoughts. Thanks all.

houses dont sell for two reasons - they are too dear, or there is something wrong with them.
