what is/means cross network mins, xnet mins etc..?

i am so dead confused by some mobile phone website, they just arent clear... now if you visit this link http://www.phones4u.co.uk/shop/shop_contract_details.asp?ItemKey=143467&MPItemKey=153221 its Nokia 6111, pink, 1500 inclusive mins. it says 1500 mins inclusive mins + cross network...does it mean anytime, any network + anytime uk landlines or is it just to other networks and not uk landlines ?

pls advise as its 2 weeks i am looking for a new contract and am not getting anywhere..chers mates...

    Click on "Call Charges" it tells you name of Tariff. = Leisure 1500 18 months.

    Leisure 1500 is an Evening & Weekend Off Peak Minutes Tariff.;)

    See the O2 Tariff Guide which confirms that its offpeak.

  • i see....apologies...i did not know that leisure's are off-peak tariffs...cheers mate..so this means that when ever i read cross net or xnet mins, it means that to any network anytime + anytime uk landlines...right ?

    X-Net minutes usually means = Any UK Network (including your own) and UK landline minutes.(Not always any time might be as in this case,offpeak only).

    Otherwise its usually described as Own Network Minutes. = Own Network Mobile Minutes,and uk landlines.(again you can have offpeak variations of this).
