If you go onto twitter and type @hmunitedkingdom into the search box, you will see that a lot of people are saying that it should have been made clearer. I am retweeting all these messages and I think that if enough of us do the same, then H & M will get the picture that they need to make it clearer.

I went to my home and at 11.01 and put hmunitedkingdom #giftcardgiveaway in the whats happening box and tweet, was that right.

No, that's what you were to do per the T&Cs but apprently not correct.

Then they told you RT, but apparently RTing wasn't correct either.

The winners all appear to have copy and pasted the message they said RT and Tweet it instead.

Absolute joke really!!! Good luck everyone for tommorrow though!!!

You forgot the @ bit in front. :

But apparantly even that was wrong. The only person that I saw that won with @hmunitedkingdom #giftcardgiveaway put 'RT:' in front of it

Per H&M on FB: The competition was simple. All you have to do is be one of the first 100 to manually RT the COMP message 4 more days of competitions left. If you were not lucky today please try again tomorrow. We will announce the competition 10minutes before it starts. Good Luck!!

They could have wrote 'manually' in the message in the first place. Its not very simple when they give you vague instructions and deviate from the original T&Cs.

oh yeah very simple. They could at least be gracious and admit they didn't make it clear, I would understand and give them the benefit of the doubt. I don't know why companies who don't understand twitter run major twitter comps, it doesn't do them any favours when it all goes belly up.

I agree completely! And the fact they then post a message making it sound like everyone who RT'd (using the RT function) are the stupid ones lol!

I quite agree. They don't seem to have grasped that they would need to be following the winners in order that the winners could DM them.
