If your tweets are protected I'm not sure H+M will be able to see them - I may be wrong though.

Having had a little search there are winners who are not on the list so people near the bottom may have been bumped off.

For everyone who thinks they should have won because of the message "you and 23 etc others" those figures are really not accurate at all and are just a rough guide. the list I posted was based on when the tweets acually reached Twitter and were logged, in the list it looks like people have posted 10s after the announcement and still won, but they probably all retweeted with a couple of seconds its just when Twitter logged that they retweeted and not when the button was pressed.

As so many people pressed at once its likely that some some peoples retweets might have gone missing, some servers might take longer to pass the infomation along, and some people are missing from public search for various reasons, and if these are not logged by Twitter then there is no way to tell that you've retweeted, Twitter isn't perfect and makes mistakes quite a bit with missing tweets etc.

From what I understand about that privacy tickbox is that HM will be able to see but people who aren't following you won't.

Here's what I found (from Twitter Support):

If a search for your username or name on Twitter's Find People search tool returns no results, it could be due to one of the following reasons:

1. Your account is less than 24 hours old. It can take up to 24 hours to be indexed into Find People. Our engineers are working to reduce this delay.
2. You have recently changed your name. If you've recently changed your username or real name, it may take 24 hours to be searchable under your new information.
3. Your account is affected by a bug.

What you can do
If you are affected by reason #3 listed above, please leave a comment below. In your comment, please include the following information:

• Your username
• What search term fails to return your account in the results?
• Have you had your current username longer than a few days?

Well I've asked a question on FB, I doubt very much they will bother to respond! I think the prize is faaab and its great to see MSEers who have won (congrats again), as for H+M I'm not impressed. Twitter having issues is one thing, but their lack of communication and shambolic T&C's let them down... big time! Good luck to everyone today but I'm not going to be doing the comp anymore it takes up too much time, and is an awful lot of hassle. I'd much rather they asked questions about H&M on FB (which is a lot more reliable) and draw winners from that.

Have had fun with the banter on here though
