@compergrapevine has just done a useful little experiment. She asked people to rt a message using twitter's rt button and this is what she found -

Seems like it's not h&m's fault it's a problem with Twitter not showing most of the retweets. Explains why most people won with c+p method but a few did win who used the rt button. Sorry h&m (but your customer service could have been better)

Now some - but not all - of the RT button tweets have appeared in my time line but it took 20 minutes. No good for "first to RT" comps!
