I thought it was "COMP RT Follow @hmunitedkingdom for the £100 #giftcardgiveaway to win one of a 100 gift cards between 11-12pm now" that was the exact text typed into the tweet box yesterday.

Could a winner please confirm? Do we start the tweet with "follow" or "COMP RT"?

I won the prize yesterday...and this is what I did - I REtweeted the message that appeared on the H&M page at 11am - just looked at my Twitter and it was this:

COMP RT Follow @hmunitedkingdom for the £100 #giftcardgiveaway to win one of a 100 gift cards between 11-12pm now. http://!!!!!!!/abhut2


Presumably the only bit that will need to change is the time, to reflect the hour that the competition is running.

To be honest, I don't know if it matters if you tweet this or retweet their message. But I won by retweeting.

According to their T&C's (which prove to be worth naff all and written by a 5 yr old!) it states:

SIMPLY RT the competition message e.g:

COMP RT Follow @hmunitedkingdom for the £100 #giftcardgiveaway to win one of a 100 gift cards between 11-12pm now. http://!!!!!!!/abhut2

I would guess therefore that he message will change daily. I wouldnt be tempted to RT a couple of hings to be on the safe side though, it's only one entry per day and 5 in total during the duration of he competition, I RT twice yesterday as I was so confused about what we were supposed to be doing, so I wont be able to enter all days of the comp

Hi i dont mean to be really thick but did you copy and paste into the empty whats happening box or just press the re-tweet box next to the message they sent.

I did not copy and paste, I looked at their webpage at 11.00, saw their message and pressed on 'retweet'.


like I said I don't know if it matters if you tweet, retweet or what...I'm just letting you know what I did.

I won yesterday as well and all I did was retweet, using the retweet button, not C&Ping from my twitter page as soon as the message appeared at 11am, when I did it said you and 46 others have retweeted this message - hth, good luck to everyone today:)

You DO use the retweet button (as copying and pasting isn't always clear for them to see), they will (as they did yeserday) announce it 10 minutes before, you RT the first competition message which yesterday was:

Don't rely on the the fact that it says 'you and 5 others have RT' as being the 6th, as the update for that was coming in slowly, so at that point there could of been alot more!

I am going to use my phone to sign up to their text messages and stay logged in, to see if that gives me a heads up!
