Ongoing issues with Sky..help!

Hi,

I'll try and keep this in as few points as I possibly can to make it easier but I'm gettting increasingly frustrated with Sky and their lack of answers!

I called in June to get Sky and the movies package in for my Gran. I set up the DD in my name for her, and told them several times that the bill must come out on 26th every month as it's the day after I get paid. At the same time (and I don't know how I fell for it) I signed up for Sky Talk for her at £11 per month. All well and good or so I thought.

1) The Sky was installed 12th June and the bill came out on 26th June for around £40 which I thought was about right. Then around 16th July I recieved a letter from my back saying Sky had again tried to take £42 from my bank account on 12th July. I called to query and was told this is common practise to take two bills close to each other. I asked why I wasn't informed of this, as my first DD had came out on 26th June so I assumed it was set up for the correct date. They couldn't answer and told me it was tough.

2) I then changed the billing date to 26th of every month so had six weeks worth of Sky to pay on 26th August. Checked my bank today and they had taken £92.49. When I asked why they said that someone had ordered two box office movies. We crosschecked the films (as we usually record them in advance for my Gran) and both films were being shown and recorded from True Movies, which is supposed to be included.

3) I was then also informed that they had taken three months of Sky Talk from my account in one go. I asked was that normal to be charged quarterly. I was told no, and that they had simply missed my billing dates on 26th June and 12th July when the SkyTalk was installed at the end of June.

What is making me so angry is I'm not recieving any bills from them, no correspondance at all about anything. Whenever I call them I'm told it's tough and that those are my dates, the Sky Talk is just tough we didn't bill you until now etc...and I'm beginning to lose my patience with them.

Surely they can't take DD out of my account either without informing me of the charge, especially with Sky Talk being on there and that means the amount being billed could be different every month.
