Barclaycard paid off!

  • Thanks piglet. I think it's useful to have a credit card handy for just in case emergencies anyway. But I'll never get into the mess I was in before! Harsh lesson well learned, I think!

OK then, maybe not shoes, but I do need a few urgent re-heels doing!

    well done you.

I paid my final payment on mine a couple of days ago, I cant wait to close it.

On monday, the reckon they can close the card, although others are saying they will charge me interest next month, we shall see.

I hate barclaycard, they are terrible. Couldnt you get one of those tesco cards instead you get clubcard points for spending and settling on that one? But then im biased, I really do hate b/card
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Thanks lynz - and well done to you too!

Actually (and don't shoot!) I'm happy with Barclaycard. They've never been aggressive or nasty with me and even offered (unprompted!) to refund my charges when I told them I was struggling! And, to be honest, I'm not sure I could get another CC at the moment. And I don't shop in Tescos! :rotfl:
