What the hell?! I am being absolutely genuine.. i thought this was a forum where people can get help? I am just scared and need to know.. as i have already wasted money on the likes of yesloans.. i have already got a new card and cancelled the other.. i have my cashminder co op account now.. but im just wondering what the next step is as im quite scared.. sorry if im not used to all this stuff.. but i dont know what the high horse act is that you have going on.. i have apologised and told you countless times that i appreciate your help.. i may seem annoying i know, but it needs to be sorted :(

    SO SORT IT

How many times have you been told now? HOW MANY? Shall I count them?
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(

OP: It is difficult to tell you what to do next because up to the last couple of posts you haven't said that you have done anything at all!

    - You have set up a new account - good
    - Have you closed the old account?
    - Do you know how much you can actually afford (have you worked out what pay you get / what you pay out apart from loans / what is left over) - DO THIS NEXT
    - Then write / email each of the companies (look at the National Debtline Sample letters section - there is one to offer creditors token payments)

Read this thread: As this is someone else going through the same as you https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/36027677#Comment_36027677 (If you click on their username you can see their other posts and find out where they started)

    Cartman,

People on here give advice for free, and try to help wherever they can. If you do not follow the advice and repeatedly ask the same questions, then they get frustrated because you are essentially ignoring them while demanding they answer you!

Ok, you have the cashminder account now? Get every penny over and into it. Close off the old account, or at least make sure there is no overdraft facility to let the creditors take money.

Then, use the template letters that people have ALREADY sent you and write to each creditor, enclosing a postal order for £1 as a token payment, explaining that you are seeking debt rememdy advice. Instruct them to contact you only in writing. They will call, but you can write to them again later, Just ignore the calls.

Then, follow the links at the top of the forum page to contact CCCS or Payplan. Do NOT use any service that charges you a fee. If you even suggest that it might be worth doing after everything you have been told, the good people on here are going to verbally rip you apart.

Listen to what CCCS and Payplan tell you.

Stop spending money you don't have.

Grow up. This is going to hurt your credit for 6 years, so you need to be a man about it.

I wish you all the luck in the world, but it won't do a damn bit of good unless you follow the instructions.

    Claire

I think Hannah , that there is more to this poster than meets the eye.....suffice to say , throwing out names of debt managment companies is free advertising....
Well, it sort of makes sense. I suppose if this is the case, he will be here for the long haul and we can expect a narrative which involves him sorting out his debt with this company.

God could you be any stupider? Truly? You have narrowly avoided being hounded out of here, by the skin of your teeth, and you re-ignite the fires?

Sit down, shut up, play nicely and the people with a higher level of tolerance for suffering fools will assist you...

Or pick a fight with everyone who's already cross with you for being a lazy, ungrateful brat.

    Your call.

We shall see if you add arrogance to your list of good points, or if, for once in your frustrating existance here, you take heed.

You have benefitted from the advice of some of the most experienced and knowledgable people on this forum. People who's names I would be honored to see in any thread of mine requesting assistance. You have not listened to it. You have come back here, demanding like a little leach, to be fed again and again and again and all the while taken no notice. You don't deserve the help you're already getting, and yet you STILL ignore it and you STILL press for a fight.

You protest you're real. Well how about starting with a real appology to the people whos time you have really wasted, over and over again, over 100 times actually? Then how about actually dealing with your own problems by reading your previous threads rather than make demand after demand on points already covered multiply?

Or... Do you just come here for a fight perhaps? Because NOTHING about you is credible. People who really are desperate for help READ and LEARN.

And here we are, back to square one. What's the "golden rule" about contacting creditors Cartman? How many times have you been told this? And by whom? To answer that question you would simply have to read back the 4 threads. I wont be holding my breath eh.

You didn't come here for help, you came here to cause trouble. If you don't like that assertion then prove it wrong- ACTUALLY READ SOMETHING.

    The choice is yours.
