just come home lads. picked up a loaf of bread, some milk and a 35 thousand pound a year plus bonuses job in Medical IT. see there's loads of jobs out there for good pay. clearly the OP was off his head, and needs to try harder to find a job.

Actually, there's a healthy amount of work in Healthcare IT in the north, the UK's leading firm is based in Warrington

    Here's a jobs website.. http://www.e-health-insider.com/recruitment/

Some jobs in there start at 65k

Edit: just found quite a nice job on there and applied for it.. fingers crossed!

Not sure whether healthcare IT isn't a bit of a poison chalice considering how badly most NHS IT projects have gone over the last few years! But if pays well, who cares :)

Theres not much down south either, its either graduate jobs or jobs that require experience in so and so, i could do the graduate jobs but theres not much point in applying is there

Multinational IT firm specialising in healthcare IT.. job is in London

However, the salary wasn't advertised (other than 'excellent') so it'd better be over 40k or i'll have made a wasted journey
