In addition they recently bought up the Baxi Group so maintenance can be carried out by Heateam and there should be no worries about parts etc.
That is the main reason that me and several colleagues have told them we will stop fitting them!
At present we do all our own warranty repairs, so the customer gets a better service:T0 -

Tradespersons posting on here have seen too much spurious and sometimes dangerous advice given and will comment when appropriate.
My apologies to the OP of this thread.

thats fair enough but there are certain areas where opinion is divided and none more so than where CWI is concerned. On the net I have come across "expert" advice wich mirrors that which i have found outside it .A surveyor was very much against it whilst a Building inspector recommended it provided it is done by a reputable installer.Several people on the net including here, have also recommended it whilst others have expressed doubt. Jeff Howell ,who writes the AsK jeff column in the Daily Telegraph covering a whole range of building issues, is dead against it. it doesnt exactly fill the average person who knows nothing on the subject with confidence.
sorry to the OP of this thread for deviating from the subject matterArgentine by birth,English by nature0 -

Are you saying that Remeha are saying that all warranty work has to be done by Heateam?
As from Sept 1st, Heat Team are the official warranty repairers for Broag.
Several of us are not very happy with that.
I met my rep today to complain, amongst other things, and as far as we all know the likes of me will still get the parts to do our own warranty repairs.0
