If they try a chargeback they will alo have to post it back to you and get proof of delivery. If they do this ensure that you check item is in one piece before signing for it.
No way will they have had it appraised, they are bluffing!
Just tell them to follow ebay/ paypal procedures because as far as you are concerned the item is genuine and you can name the shop it was bought in and you will not be bullied into any decision.
Above advice also seems sound, I reckon you can tell a lot about folk depending on their first contact with a problem, overly aggresive ones are normally up to no good.0 -
