Email them. I would simply put something along the lines of...

    Dear sirs,
Thank you for the IPA agreement received on XXX date. I am unable to sign it as I do not agree with it. I would like to confirm that my only income is soley made up of a disability pension and disability benefits. Under these circumstances an IPA should not be implemented in the first place so I think that an error may have occured somewhere. I would appreciate it if you could check directly with the Official Examiner (put name here; its on your BR paperwork/court order) and confirm back to me as soon as possible that no IPA is payable.

    Your help is most appreciated,

    Regards

Do not allow yourself to be bullied. They are not gods...... If you dont feel able to call or confront them then email them nicely over it. Your DLA is there to cover your additional disability expenses, it is not there to give away on debt repayments and although ultimately it is no-ones business, some may question if you needed the DLA in the first place if you can afford to give it away. (If you see what I mean, without trying to sound rude xxx).

Thanks for that I have just cut and paste your suggested email and sent it of to the OR I added my own details Sounds good quite official

Please don't think I give it all away I have to buy extra clothing and bedding with it and I am virtually unable to leave the house without being accompanied My life is run like a military operation It is only £71.40 per week and if it were not for the kindness of family and friends I would hardly be living at all Just at home 24/7

    Much kudos

The person who conducted your OR interview is not the actual Official Receiver. They would have been an Assistant. The Assistant (underling) then reports to Official Receivers Assistant, who then reports to the Actual Receiver. So no wonder he was young and overly eager, but also incorrect. So fire off an email. It is your absolute right. Bankruptcy is there to help both the Bankruptee and the creditors. You will be fine. x

Thanks for that He did make me feel like I was a Pariah on society perhaps in my heightened state of anxiety I was being overly sensitive

All of your kindess is a great help

    Went Br on 26th July

Does anyone know what happens if you do not agree with the OR's assesment of an IPA I had my interview with the OR and he has assessed that I should pay an IPA of £70 per month I just don't have it!!!!!
He has said that they will take me to court to get an IPO

Will the judge look at my income and expenditure and decide or is it a foregone conclusion??

Also if I get an IPO v IPA will I have to pay longer or more??

Has anyone challenged the OR in court?

    Who pays the legal fees?

    This is my SOA

Would anyone care to advise ??

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to have a look

I don`t understand why your DLA is down as an expense?

It is down as an expense because it is included in my income and natch thought that it was to be used to help with my disabilities and not with everyday living costs that anyone else would have

    Thanx

OK just been having a read through, An occupational pension is qualifying income for an IPA, So you can be given an IPA providing that you have enough surplus. In cases like this it is always best to get a breakdown from the other side to see what they are thinking, you wont know where the point of disagreement is unless you do

No, it does not matter if she is employed or not , just that she has some none benefit income and a private pension classes as none benefit income, if it was just the state pension then there would be no IPA as a state pension is a benefit
