I am having a look at various Nokia N95s on ebay and wanted people's opinions on it.

I am particularly interested in the sat nav with it - anyone here use it or know about it ?

Do you need to have the phone connected to the internet to use the sat nav ?

Also is the camera any good ? It is 5mp so it sounds useful !

I also would like to use the calendar - is that any good too ?

Thank you for your help in advance :)

Its ok but very 3 years ago?

    how about a nokia 5800.

Theyre cheap, very good and have the free ovi maps which isnt bad for free. Plus the extra screen space is useful (for satnavs).
    Back by no demand whatsoever.

How does the above one look ? Good value ? Good Phone ? What should I offer if it's any good ?

  • Bear in mind that they are generally going for under £100 on bidding auctions on eBay, so £135 is a little bit above average. Although, if it's convienient for you and you want one in that sort of condition, I'd go for it!

Nokia N95 8GB are best and if you're lucky you won't have to get into 3 figures. :)

N95 is great - very sturdy and no software issues (unlike it's slobby younger brother the N96 which is riddled with problems!)

Agreed. After Nokia sorted out typical initial niggles, this was an excellent device. The N96/N85 didn't quite follow up as well.

When the N95 came out, it was very feature rich and still better specced than some phones now. I would consider it the best consumer device for quite a while after its release.
