Virgin Media and Talk Talk Rip Off Scam

Hi all,
just thought I would let you all know to make sure you check your bills from these companies as they are rip off merchants who take unauthorised monies from your accounts!
I was moving home so I cancelled my virgin media package (had been with them for a couple of years so not in breach of contract or anything).
I phoned them about 3 months before the move to let them know I would be cancelling and I received my last statement from them which had 2 30 day cancellation fees - think it came to £30 or so!!!
I phoned Virgin media and the girl looked over her records and said 'i dont know why you have been charged this as you phoned over 30 days ago to let us know you were cancelling'. They took the extra money out of my account my dd, and a week later i received a cheque in the post for the amount they took IN ERROR.
My point being most people would not bother even calling the company, they are crooks!
Moved house and phoned to get Talk Talk, was told on the phone because I was moving from virgin media i didnt have to pay the £29.99 connection fee. Yes, you've guessed it, I receive my online bill with the £29.99 connection fee on it, they later take it out of my bank account by DD. I phone them up, get put through to about 4 different people, finally get someone who tells me the money will be credited to my account in 24 hours, not so much as an apology/explanation!
How can these companies be allowed to operate in such an unprofessional manner, it is theft almost:mad: I dont trust them anymore, and I would say to you all to check everything cause they are con merchants!!!
