  • An increase in the price of an investment class asset sure is though...

    Especially when you have two.:D

you use that term "investment class asset" fairly often but it's both unfamiliar and meaningless to me - are you able to give an approximate definition?
    FACT.

And yes, I know, it's peak summer selling season, they'll dip again over winter just like every year, the 28 day stats are pretty noisy, and this peak may only last a week or two.

So this is basically another pointless Hamish thread.

But it's nice to see the recovery is almost complete.

    Hamish, lets be fair.
We've hugely critisized the 28 flash data as being hugely erroneous when it showed falls and when the monthly data came out it was not the same.

Most likely there is still a huge element of error when they show rises

What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

Very good, concise summary. This isn't a thread started to discuss "noisy" data. It's a thread started to discuss worthless data, and as such spam.

Well it got two pages of peeved perma-bears commenting, so it's clearly not pointless at all.:D

Nice definition. Have you got a similar one to describe the other side of the coin?

I'm actually worried about these house price crash bears. I've noticed this week that since the 0.4% house price RISE they have been tombstoned. I heard a rumour that popular chap Eric Prebble had bought two hundred junior asprins with his giro and ended it all.

No posts on the boards or anything. I reckon the chains come off this time good and proper.

Sad beaten broken people. No hope and only future pushing trollies round Asda carpark.

I'm glad I had the sense to buy a house at the right time and didn't get priced out.

I ought to be on Dragons Den.:rotfl:

Not sure how that would work?

DD people: Today we are going to meet Sibley who has bought a house.
Sibley: Hello. I bought a house.
    DD peeps: And?
    Sibley: I bought a house.
    DD peeps: ?
    Sibley: I bought a house.

You can see what I am getting at. Unless you have some cute angle on it of course. Or maybe it's so long since I watched Dragons Den (only once, boring), that they have changed the format from invention to repetition.
