I would like to get Sky tv for the Sports and Movie packages only. I don't need broadband or any telephone packages. Honestly, I have tried to search for the best way to do this without a landline but am coming up with all sorts of combinations. To be honest far too techie for me. Can anyone tell me a simple economical way to do this, please?:( TIA

You can opt out of the requirement for a landline connection to the Sky box for the first 12m of the contract by paying a one-off fee of £20 or £25 (I forget which) at the start of the contract. Unless you want Multiroom, in which case both boxes must have a permanent connection. No free lunch, and no free laptop
