I’ve just got a letter for Barclays’ saying that the interest from Golden ISA issue 1 will drop from 2.58% to 2.25% starting with 1st November 2010. I have £7400 in that account and I was wondering if it’s time to transfer them to a different account. Any suggestions? Is it worth transferring them somewhere else? I’m willing to lock them for 1 year but not longer than that.
