  • Afternoon ladies.

Congratulations to the ladies with the BFPs. I dont know you well because I'm new here but I'm happy for you (and a tiny bit jealous). Hope you have a healthy, happy 8 months ahead.

Sorry to those the witch got.

Definitely out this month. Hubby has manflu so we haven't even shared a bed this week, let alone any bodily fluids. AF will be on her way. Interesting AF fact - in Islamic and Judiac cultures women are considered unclean during AF visits. This isn't a hygiene thing. It's because AF is considered a mourning period for the loss of a life that could have been and as a result they're not expected to engage in domestic duties like cleaning and cooking.

Aside from that I'm a bit concerned. Sister is going through menopause at 35!! No big deal for her. She's completed her family. I haven't even started yet and I always wanted more than one. If the same happens to me I might go through menopause before I even get one BFP. I comfort myself that my mother had us late in life and didn't go through menopause til her 50s but my ageing pattern has been pretty similar to my sister's so far both starting to go grey in our late teens and so on, that I am really worried that I only have 2.5 years left to get this right!!

Ha! Chance would be a fine thing. I'd have to do it myself today :rotfl:

Hugs for JJ. Hubby thinks it's quite funny but I think that's because he hasn't really thought through the implications of how little time we might have.

Interesting...might have to use that....Christianity's not too far from Judaism ;):p

Firstly, there's nothing to say it'll go that way, and stress(ing about it) won't help you get the BFP.
Secondly, you'll get your BFP before then, for sure :D
Thirdly, I can completely understand how it must be on your mind! Hope it doesn't trouble your thoughts too much :)

I've been quiet cos my niece and nephew are here for the weekend :) Took them out today, with friend and her 3mnth old DD (who wants me to be her Godmother), then picked DH up from work and had a little nap ;) Came down to find him and the kids had tidied the downstairs up :D:happyhear

Have completely forgotten to take my temp this morn...ah well. Don't think they were showing much anyway
