  • Happy April Fool's Day everyone!!! DH has caught me out twice this morning :rotfl: I'm not creative enough to think of a good one that would fool him though!

Well I didn't need to do pg test this morning. I have a bad back so I have a Doctor's note excusing me from all the moving and handling at work for the next 2 weeks.

I'm waiting for AF to arrive in the next few days. I might do a test on Sunday, with it being Mother's Day if AF hasn't shown her face, although I could be setting myself up for disappointment there.

DH went to fertility clinic yesterday to do his sample, but we aren't expecting the results to be good as he hadn't cleared the pipes for 11 days  We go back for our results on Tuesday and I think they might ask him to do another sample.

    Hi Everyone-hope you're all well :)

Congrats, and hugs to anyone who needs them-i'm a bit behind in my reading of this thread as the last week has been so manic. I will catch up over the weekend though.

Anyhoo, i am not sure what cycle day i'm on, i could work it out if i thought about it as i know when i'm due on but am trying to avoid putting too much thought into it in view of our relaxed month approach :)
Can i please go on the testing list for Saturday 9th April. I know i'm due on at some point before then!

    SBDTA xx
  • Morning all,

Sorry GG - Maybe you could try a second opinion? My doctors never agree with each other so what one may say another might not - I hope you manage to get your appointment soon to bring on AF!

CD10 here for me and judging that my temperature is still up I think ovulation has been and gone! :( I only hope I wasn't too late BD.
On a brighter note I know next month I am an early bird! :rotfl:

Happy April Fools to everyone. Hugs to those that need them ...

I feel as if someone has ran over me with a bus and i was in tears before i even left the room let alone the building. I have decided I am moving onto the 12m+ thread as I simply cannot stay here for another 6 months. To watch so many people come and go so quickly with thier BFP's is like a kick in the teeth each time. I will still lurk and hope each and every one of you get your BFP's and i hope to see you on the pregnancy thread sometime soon.

So sorry to hear that GG. I don't know much about the process but I hope that you either get the result or the help that you need soon :o
Sorry been away and no internet access. I have just done another first response and there are two lines. Am sure I am pg (well I know I am) just a bit in denial as not even missed af yet. I am due on sunday based on 30 day cycle - will be a lot happier when I can use a clear blue test and see it written down! I am so chuffed as I was due on the 10th of April so had been dreading it. Whilst this tlp doesnt replace my star in the sky it helps x
    :j :j :j
HUGE congrats chucknorris! :) That's brilliant news - and you just snuck in a March BFP! I think I would be in denial too...but I'm sure you'll get used to the idea soon enough!
This new bean will never replace the babba you lost, but it means that you can look to the future with hope and happiness :)

Today was Buddy's cremation and I just wanted to share something which made me smile......I took a small flower display to place on his casket and a little orange butterfly (left over from wedding last year) which I used to hold a message card on the flowers, anyway it was sooo windy it kept blowing off, after oh running round for it and then a failed attempt by FIL, we left it. during the service this butterfly kept flying round past the window and it was beautiful :)

:) Well it made me smile but also made me cry lots! So sad that you had to go through all this, but I'm glad you could smile yesterday - that butterfly was a lovely little sign :)

CD24, and another very slight temp increase, but not much. Nothing else much to report...
Went out for dinner last night to a charity fundraiser, was ok but DH drank too much  so didn't BD last night (I didn't want to - he stank of beer!) So hopefully I didn't ov yesterday or the day before.

Getting my hair cut this morning, yay! :D I love having a new haircut.

Hope you all have a lovely day, and here's to a BFP-crazy April!

Feel free to ignore, just want to get it out!

11DPO, AF like cramps and MORE spotting this morning, sure she's one her way but why so early? Not due for another week but did ov a few days early. Body behave damn you :(

Also, OH will be working away A LOT for the next 4/5 months so if I'm out now then pretty much zero chance until September. Not only that but I'll be lonely with it and even if we do manage to get a baby going I'll be all on my own, probably feeling rubbish. We live out in the sticks so it's a taxi ride if we want to meet friends for a drink which I won't be able to afford very often on my own and half of them are pregnant anyway so have their own thing going on at the moment, they don't need a tagalong.

Anyhoo, back to work (which I hate but can't get another job even after 2 years of trying as I work in a specialist field and there aren't may jobs out there).

Sorry to be a whinger, I'm usually such a positive person but finding it hard at the moment :(

11 days won't be as bad as one thinks, well in our case anyway:cool:

Morning all, just de-lurking with a couple of questions! I'm on my last pack of the pill before we start TTCing!! Can't wait. As I'm on the pill I have perfect 28 day cycles, yesterday I had what I thought was EWCM which I believe suggests OV? I was CD9....does that sound sensible?

Also, for those that use conceive plus or preseed or anyone who knows anything about either of them.....what made you choose one over the other? I need to get one of them but I can't decide which to go with!
