OPK will probably not show + now if you've ov'd.
    LH surge doesn't last long:o

Thanks for that QQ - There is soo much information you need to take in - I feel resentful (in a goodway) that people accidentally drop on - I would love that!!

I have been formally awaiting my AF to regulate before seriously trying ... this months temps were to see where i ovulated - I just didn't look into it properly beforehand otherwise I would have known Tuesday ... at least I know now that I need to be BD just after AF .... Another piece of the puzzle fitting together about my best chances :rotfl:

I am learning more and more about this as I am reading everyones posts. It's been a huge learning curve!

I can't stand being told I can't have things... If that machine tells me one more time that 'this area is only for VIP members' I will scream :D

LOL That was me on Monday! I dont think I've ever been a VIP I paid in dollars anyway, so that makes it loads cheaper....doesnt it? lol :j

  • Well the fertility specialist appointment didn't go very well. At first the consulatant was very positive, we will give you provera to bring on your period and give you clomid to make you ovulate, and we will do blood tests, a hycosy and SA for OH. then he went away and spoke to his boss and came back and the story was completely different. We cannot give you clomid because of your BMI it would be dagerous for you to get pregnant with your bmi. (40) Our advice is to lose weight, we would need your bmi to be under 35 to give you clomid which he then worked out I need to lose 3 stone. We can talk about getting clomid at our next appointment which will be 6 months time.

Then the next bombshell, We cannot give you provera, We can only give you it if you need it for the hycosy (need to phone and try and make an appointment for that tomorrow) but other than that we cannot give you it. So, CD95 of who knows how long cycle. The not getting clomid I can actually handle as I was expecting that but not giving me provera to bring on my period I cannot take. Its bad enough trying to get pregnant and being unsucessful but not having a period at all is just pure torture. I'm not really sure how i'm going to manage not to be in tears everyday about that one.

I feel as if someone has ran over me with a bus and i was in tears before i even left the room let alone the building. I have decided I am moving onto the 12m+ thread as I simply cannot stay here for another 6 months. To watch so many people come and go so quickly with thier BFP's is like a kick in the teeth each time. I will still lurk and hope each and every one of you get your BFP's and i hope to see you on the pregnancy thread sometime soon.
  • Sorry to hear it didnt go well GG, is a second opinion a good idea? please dont give up hope.

Sorry its D1 Kelly, try not to get to disheartened, your body will let you conceive again when its ready - Mine has taken five long months since my mc despite having regular cycles etc. The waiting is torture though I know x

Hugs to all that need them and fingers crossed for everyone x
  • Sorry been away and no internet access. I have just done another first response and there are two lines. Am sure I am pg (well I know I am) just a bit in denial as not even missed af yet. I am due on sunday based on 30 day cycle - will be a lot happier when I can use a clear blue test and see it written down! I am so chuffed as I was due on the 10th of April so had been dreading it. Whilst this tlp doesnt replace my star in the sky it helps x

You are an amazing person who im loving getting to know better (even if you decided you didnt want to marry me after all)
You have a beautiful family and I know one day that it will be completed in the way you wish to.
I wont miss you when you move the 12monthplus thread because I know ill just keep stalking you over there and stuff (I feel you owe it to me after you made me spend money last night!!!)
I cant believe what the specialist said and him changing his mind the way he did.

Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
