So pigpen can I beckon you for your wisdomly thoughts please - I know this isn't a medical thread but I would appreciate your thoughts hunny x
Spotting yesterday - nothing today and not due for period until 29th of March, my period finished last week. Nearly passed out earlier and have been feeling nauseous and giddy today. Have had diarrhea all week which I have put down to a bug but no sickness and I can't get enough of savoury food - especially cheese and ham which I don't normally touch because I don't like processed food. I've just polished off a pepperami and savoured every morselI'm also a HUGE lover of chocolate but really not too bothered by it at all at the moment?! Obviously could be bug messing up cycle and craving salty food to replace lost salt but I've never had spotting before and cycle has never been affected by any sort of illness in the past.

Hope you don't mind me popping into to say hello. I've been lurking. Oooer, that sounds a bit creepy doesn't it? Like I'm hiding around corners waiting to jump out and flash at you all. Don't worry I'll try not to. Anyway, I've been lurking and reading your stories and wanted to wish you all good luck and sticky baby dust.
Anyway, a little bit of background. I'm Laura and I'm 32. I came off the pill last year for medical reasons. The plan was to use some other contraception but we decided not to. We're not actively trying but not not trying either. We've pulled the goalie.
I'm on CD24, with EWCM on day 8 and then again on CD23. My cycles are irregular, with cycles from 16 days to 42 days. We dtd around the first time of EWCM but lately I haven't been in the mood iykwim.
If you've lost interest in the mega post I wouldnt blame you. Just wondered if you guys have any idea which lot of EWCM was the ovulation stuff. Surely I haven't done it twice?
Also a naughty bit of ssing here. I'm tired, grumpy and got a sore throat. OH used some brown sauce on his bacon sarnie and I could smell it in the dining room, really strong even though he was in the kitchen, bbs hurt, I'm grumpy and tearful, my throat hurts, I have a runny nose and (TMI) I feel like I need to do a massive parp.
Ooh just realised that wasn't a nice way to leave the post as it just said "hello i'm laura, check out my cervical mucous, I want to parp.
So errrmmmm, thanks and more baby dust for you.0 -
Hi all!! Hope you're all having a good Friday evening? I've been bowling with my 3 nieces and 1 inherited niece (sister's partner's daughter). It was great fun
 to the newbies this week.
:grouphug: to everyone caught by AF
:j to Lynn. Big congrats :beer:MrsExcited wrote: »Feeling really great and positive - It's been really helping me this cycle that I haven't been using OPKs. I find when I'm using them I spend all day thinking about TTC. I have to think about when to stop drinking and when to hold my pee - then I have to rush home and PIAC without DH knowing (don't want him to think I'm a TTC nutter!). Then if I get a negative OPK it puts me on a downer for the rest of the evening. I'm usually a happy person so that was just doing my head in.
I'm with you on that one, we stopped using OPKs last month and I feel less stressed about TTC. I agree that when I was using them I would think about TTC all day - planning what time to do OPK, when I would have to stop drinking, where I would be able to do it (as I work in the community), carrying the stuff around in my bag all day, carrying my urine around in my bag whilst it cooled :rotfl:then no two months were ever the same, one month I would have 5 days of faint lines then a dark line, the next month I wouldn't get a faint line, just straight to the dark line, then the stress of 'is the dark line the same as the control line?' then if I didn't get a dark line that was as dark as the control line I would stress that I wasn't ov'ing ............ and on and on it wentOH never complained but I don't think it was good for him that he was on 'standby' just waiting for the green light, so to speak. It made me feel pressured and I should imagine it probably did him.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: That made me chuckle!

Whereabouts are you in your cycle? I think you can often get another dose of EWCM around the time AF is due? So you could have OV'd around CD8, with AF due around CD24? However if you are CD30 that puts paid to that theory!

Best let that massive parp outSore throat and runny nose sounds promising!
I don't want to rain on your ss'ing parade, but last week on CD2 I was at work sitting about 18 foot from a colleague who had made a fresh cup of tea. I could smell it so strongly from across the room that I thought the people next to me had tea. I said out loud 'urgh who has got tea? It smells vile!' So then there was a general conversation around the room and it was revealed the tea was 18ft away. Immediately all the females in the room said, almost in chorus, 'Ooooh are you pregnant?!?'
Ooh just realised that wasn't a nice way to leave the post as it just said "hello i'm laura, check out my cervical mucous, I want to parp.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Just as well this isn't a dating website then .... although it may appeal to some!
CD13 for me today, should ov in the next day or three. OH rose to the occasion this morning and we DTD despite him being poorly. He came home last night feeling very much under the weather, so :T I think he deserves a BFP this month!
I went to the fertility clinic this week for my internal scan, and everything seemed OK. She said it looked like my egg was developing on the left this month (wonder if they would do a monthly scan so I know which side to lie on?) Only concern was what she thought there might be a polyp in my uterus, so she wants to do another scan in a month to check whether it has grown. OH said 'no wonder my swimmers aren't getting through if they have to climb a mountain first!'
