Morning All,
Congratulations Lynn! I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy xx
Hugs to all those who need them.
Well, I had the IUD fitted this morning. Not too bad, but was very, very painful in parts. Thankfully only lasted a very short while, and now just cramping a bit whilst everything settles down. Have to go back and see doc after my next period to have it checked out and make sure all is OK etc.
Sending tonnes of SBD to all of you!
Oh, and sis went to docs yesterday who confirmed she is actually 5 weeks pregnantEverything seems good and healthy, but she and her hubby are going to pay privately for a scan at 7 weeks just to put their minds at rest.
Feeling a bit sorry for myself, so gonna curl up on the sofa for a while.
I hope you all have good days xxFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -

neither relieved or disappointed. hadnt really baby danced so wasnt expecting it too much. just bit peevd my cycles on day 46 now!
sorry more advice needed.....i tested with a clearblue digital and it says never hold the test stick with the absorbent sampler pointing upwards.....i did exactly that.....should i test again or does this make no difference?Sounds very positive!
Well didnt manage a BD this morning, OPK still strong should I carry on BDing? Norks are tingling!Just a quickie from me tonight as AF is likely going to arrive 2mo so am in the huff with TTCGoing out to cinema tonight to pretend its not happening
How is everything with you? xx
I'm still running and doing sit ups in case it'll help:pI'm kinda of the feeling that I'm gonna end up on CD90+ and they'll have to intervene, atm...:o
People on mega long cycles do get pg you know:cool:Thanks for the best wishes - turns out I'm being greedy and don't just have one kidney infection, but 2!! I'm in quite a lot of painAnyone know if kidney infection would/could put ov off?:cool:Um, it is probably too early but I will if you will tomorrow morning as long as you don't tell QQ... I have turned into a poas junkie with my ICsi have lost my folic acid so need to go and buy some more! hoping not to have left it at the inlaws!I think I did tbh. 1 hour ago it turned into CD 1 ... And round we go again ... loli have no idea QQ they seem to be all over the place, im hoping that we did 'enough' is it normal for them to be so up and down? could i have ov'd on days 11/12/13?

It is unlikely that you ov'd on 11/12/13, but you never know:oFeeling down tonight. I had a very slight knicker show so had a furkle. Definitely pinker brown and way more than before.Evening ladies
Do we need to reintroduce a song of the day to get us all positive and upbeat again???been a sneaky sneak Ive told oh the wrong days so I can surprise him the first night by being there when he gets home or Ill go to his work and meet him there and have got an extra 3days on the end of it so we can have some couple time) Im a big sneak and it was mse as ive saved £40!!! normally theres no savings to be had by prebooking but Ive saved £40 (into the baby fund)
Don't be surprised if his house is a mess:DCD 1 and I think we'll take a trip to the doctors. I noticed this morning that I've backdated 17 cycles on FF. That's how long we've been trying! Kind of brought it home. We hadn't used any contraception for a year or two before that either.
Just booking the appt could relax you enough to get you pg:o0 -
Morning all, sorry I haven't been around for a few days, been mad busy at work and besides, haven't had much to report. Just trying to stay un-stressed as I don't want to delay ov again!
Got my smear test this morning, ugh. I know they're important and I never don't go when I'm supposed to, but they're still 'orrible.
((Hugs)) to all those of you with AF arriving - seems to be a fair few all at once!Congrats to Lynn though, nice to see another BFP
Hope you feel better soon euronorris - I didn't realise it hurt having an IUD. Poor you :grouphug:
My temp seems to be nicely going up and down, which I think is normal. Does the coverline appear after ov? On other people's graphs it looks like the coverline is at the maximum temp before ov - is that right?
It's friday! :j Hope you all have a good day and have nice things to look forward to this weekend

Smash dont give up yet, could well be implantation. Its not over yet, but good luck at the docs.
Come on ladies PMA.....:o
To be honest Pawpurrs I dont really know. Its the first cycle since mc as I was bleeding for weeks and weeks before. Now CD27 though, and no bleeding which seems like a bit of a result for me. Will keep fingers crossed its just too early x0 -

Thanks everyone for being so nice. I am obviously definitely hoping my BFP comes before July and I won't need the appointmentCD 1 and I think we'll take a trip to the doctors. Boo hiss.
Still, it's friday at least!
Happy Friday! I think if you go along to the Drs and it's been quite a while they are normally very helpful and try to get tests and things moving quite quickly to see if there's any reason it's taking a while.
And huge congratulations Lynn :j.
Euronorris - you have the day off so spoil yourself and hope you feel better soon0 -
arghhhh blinding migraine woke me at half one this morning and I went to reach for the normal combination of co-codamol and ibuprofen. :eek:Stopped and thought about it and decided that I would be really brave and just take paracetamol.
Then spent the next hour wanting to kill DH for every breath that was too loud, every snore, every wriggle he made. I ended up on the sofa rather than a police cell, and although migraine hasn't completely gone it's much better than it was.
Am hoping its the surge in hormones that is causing the migraine!!

Hi all
I'm wondering if anyone can help me please? I know that this may not be the right place because a)no-one can give medical advise, b) this thread is for women trying to conceive and I'm actually not trying to and c) I know it's far too early for me to test but here goes anyway.
I am almost 37 years of age and fortunate to have two lovely boys aged 13 and 16. My husband and I haven't been trying to conceive - we have had our child bearing days and I know how lucky we are. However - my period ended on the 7th of March and was typical 7 day run and and first day of it was bang on the 28th day as usual. I have always been completely regular - 28 day cycle and period lasting for 7 days, it's never been any different. Yesterday I spotted - I'm not due till the 29th of March. I have no spotting today and have felt nauseous today and have retched over nothing today and yesterday. Have been tired and frequently urinating but I have been doing that for weeks so don't think that's really a consideration to take into account to be honest.
There are a couple of things to consider - we use the withdrawal method but alongside a fitted UDI - however my UDI has been inside for at least 2-4 years past what it should have been so I'm unsure if it even still works? (My mother fell pregnant unexpectantly on my brother while using the UDI). I have also had a stomach bug this week - no sickness just horrible diarrhoeaSo I don't know whether the stomach bug has upset my menstrual cycle, (it never has before with any type of bug I've had in the past), or if indeed the diarrhoea is actually another symptom of pregnancy??
I've had the strongest liking for cheese this week, (strange in the midst of a stomach bug)? and normally can't get enough chocolate - I wouldn't say I've gone off it but have craved savoury over sweet this week which is extremely unusual for me but again could be something to do with the stomach bug? I'm also a coffee drinker - when we run out I'm happy to drink tea but tea tastes horrible to me right now even though we are using the same tea bags that I have previously enjoyed? I'm now drinking a coffee brand I don't normally like and enjoying it!
Sorry for the looooog post, I hope you don't mind me asking for your opinions? If it does turn out that I am pregnant, although it wouldn't be a planned one I know secretly I would be excited
Good luck and best wishes to those who are trying xx

theres only one way to find out......test!0 -
Thank you pebblespop
I am sooo impatient though, lol! I know it's way too early to test and that it will probably come back negative whether I am or not
I hate the waiting game - must be very frustrating for ladies who have been trying for a while
I hope no-one minded me posting - feel a bit cheeky when I haven't been actively trying but now I'm wondering if I am just needed to talk to some real people
Hmm I wonder, I wonder?
