Hi Smash
I am 6 PDO (I think) I am hoping that it's in a good cause, I certainly raise my mothers eye brows when I mentioned a metaliccy taste (she doesn't know about us ttc!!)
I shall take some paracetamol and see if I feel better. You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0 -
Fellpony - im sure they only recommend paracetmol and not ibuprofen as ibuprofen is an NSAID (Non Steroid Anti inflammatory drug) and it can effect egg release apparently
(wow my uni job paid off i remembered something!!)Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -

Gawd I feel so run down today and have cramps like anything except it's too early for when I get usual AF cramps. I am about 2DPO so far too early to get excited about anything.
Feels really strange as eveyone seems to be talking to us about us having a baby, even the OH was grabbed at work this morning and told by his work mate how wonderful it was to have a child. Also I had a strange dream last night that I wrapped up a pair of baby booties and left them by my OH's side of the bed when we got away for a few days next month.
I didn't know all of that about the ibuprofen etc. But I don't tend to take pain killers anyway, try to just ignore the pain.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -

well my relaxed approach is going very well, i forgot to do an OPK today and I'm very chilled out. Spent a couple of hours last night with a friend and her two little ones, they are 2.5years and 3 weeks! oh they are yummy!!!! very broody now but bizarely relaxed because it took them a year both times with the boys and she has very wacky cycles more so after the 2nd so fingers crossed for me!

Thanks for sharing tinksy, good to know your friend has 2 LO's after a good while of TTC xx
Aww Penny.... if you can't beat em join em?
I love the footy so luckily we don't clash on that in our house... no doubt lots of women have been feeling your pain this week though! xOh and Jen - I think Grapefruit juice is supposed to increase CM... I'm sure QQ will be along to confirm though as that's only from memory!
xx
Thanks hon. Have been doing a bit of googling on this tonight. Can you believe there's a website called cerviaclmucus.org???? :rotfl:
It has some good tips for what could cause a lack of CM, something that ring bells is not drinking enough water. Also got some good tips for what each type of CM is - helpful if youre recording it on FF......- Dry: Record “dry” if you have no cervical mucus present. If the outside of your vaginal feels dry and you have no cervical mucus. You may most likely experience dryness before ovulation after your period and after ovulation.
- Sticky: Record “sticky” if your cervical mucus is glue-like, gummy, stiff or crumbly, breaks easily and quickly and if it is not easily stretched. It will probably be yellowish or white, but could also be cloudy/clear.
- Creamy: Creamy cervical mucus is close to hand lotion. It can be white or yellow or cloudy/clear, like milk or cream, mayonnaise or like a flour/water solution. It may stretch slightly and break easily.
- Watery: “Watery” cervical mucus is clear and most resembles water. It may be stretchy also. This cervical mucus is considered fertile and this may be your most fertile cervical mucus or you may get it before you get egg white cervical mucus or you may not get this type of fluid at all.
- Egg white: This is your most fertile cervical mucus. Record “egg white” if your cervical mucus looks at all like egg whites. It should be stretchy and clear, or clear tinged with white, or even clear tinged with pink. It also resembles semen (and has a lot of the same physical properties to allow the sperm to travel and be nourished). You should be able to stretch it between your thumb and index finger.
around the opening of your cervix for it.
Have had some spotting tonight and a wee cry - the biggest giveaway for me that AF is tomorrow, I always cry the night before for some reason. So reckon its over for this cycle. Looks like it could be a 2012 bubba for us. Will update more 2mo.
Have a nice night all
