Which one is yours Rebekah? I'm not sure I have you added, but there is one friend in the list who shows as 29ed7b. Is that you? If so, you can change the username when you are in the viewing friends area. There is a button towards the top left, but I only see it when I am viewing my friends list.

Hey your joining me! Thats when we start. Yea i'm petrified. And now its nearly real I actually am scared to death and an questioning if I really do want a baby?!
I wanted one from age 14. Then we didnt even know if we were going to get married so I told myself it will never happen. We won't get married so we won't have kids. He has never been keen either so I think I have just stayed with that mentality. I so full of questions. Will I be a good mum-will he be a good dad-why do i wanna being a kid into this terrible world and my dysfunctional family-what if i dont cope-what if i dont like it-what if i dont know what to do or it never stops crying-what if I die giving birth-what if it badly affects out relationship - i love how how we are now and dont want that to change. Guess its natural to think all this or maybe im not made out for it after all?! cant be that bad or people wouldnt do it ... right?! *Hyperventilates*

Hi there! Long time lurker of this thread (2 years plus!) and wanted to ask all you girls (and guys) about multivits.

Both OH and I went to see the nurse a few months ago and we asked what the do's and don'ts for TTC (as we plan to do so in June-ish).

The nurse said to start taking folic acid 2-3 months prior, so we decided for me to stop the pill now - I took the last one today, and start taking folic acid. (Giving me 2-ish months for the pill to come out of my system and for me to get an idea of my cycle lengths).

BUT whats the best ones to take? There are loads of different types?
I've seen pregnacare and my OH has said he is happy to take the man-versions of them but they are SOOOOOO expensive? And are they the best??

Thanks for reading, I may join in you all in June when we start trying for real - feeling nervous already about it!! In the mean time i'll go back to lurking...

    Gops x

All perfectly natural and normal fears honey. Tbh, I think that thinking about all of those things actually will make you a fab Mum! You're not going into things lightly, you're aware of the pitfalls, what can go wrong etc etc. But, if you're like me, your desire to have a child will override all of that and you'll do your best to ensure that everything goes right.

    Hi RebekahR!!

Yeah i read your post from a while back and thought that you were doing the same as me... We can be ttc buddies!! (If you like).

For me the time is right. Both me and OH are ready and the both of us get really broody aroound babies... but yes very scary, watching OBEM doesn't help!! How will I manage, I can just about take care of myself let alone a teeny tiny human being who is totally depedant on you...

Ok, i best stop, otherwise i'll end up talking myself out of the whole thing!!

Been told many-a-time that it will come naturally and will manage so I'm holding onto that thought and maybe you should too!!

It's exciting! Also chatting to other people on here who can give me advise when I need it is a nice feeling too. And I know ALL you guys sometimes give TMI but if you can't do it here, then where can you?!

    See you in June RebekahR

And thanks for the advice Phunkles and B1984

Yay I'm up for being buddies. I'm reading the book about what to expect before your expecting. Good lord its sooo over the top lol. But it is American. I spoke to drs on the phone who say we don't need to do anything except take folic acid for 3 months. Any one know why it's 3 months before? Just waiting. Wanna get on with it now. Yea i've been told a million times before i'll be a brilliant mum. Time will tell!!!
