Do you know anything about Leeuwarden? A friend lives there, and may like to visit some day:)
No, unfortunately not. It is quite far North from where I am.
Officially, Haarlem is considered North Holland, but it's not. It's more central in my opinion.
I expect that Leeuwarden is also gorgeous though. Most of the towns I've visited are. If it's more rural though, you may find that less people speak English (but still, a high percentage do or think they're bad, when actually they're great!).

KimmyMarky, I love your new ticker, so much fun!
Rebekah, you have ov'd!:j Yes I know you are not TTC yet, but it's good to ov anyway:D The reason why the lines are dotted, is because you entered fertile cm after ov:o0 -

I'd love to:) Don't know a word of Dutch though:D
Ah well, some basics for you then:
Hello = Hallo
Thank you = Dankuwel (dank oo vel) - formal or Dankjewel (dank ye vel) - informal
Thanks = Bedankt
Goodbye - there are many forms but you will hear 'Tot ziens' in shops mostly. It's kind of like, see you later and pronounces 'Tot zeens'.
Sorry = Sorry (yes, really)
Geen dienst = No service (usually shown on buses/trains when they are not in service - a handy one to know)
Ik ben ..... = I am .... (insert name here) or Ik heet (hate) ...... for the formal version
And if you're being really adventurous:
Het was leuk je ontmoet te hebben - It was nice to meet you.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Hehehehe you make me laugh! Yea i think it was eggwhite but I dont know tbh! It was clear - not much of it though. So guess it comes under eggwhite? Or should it be sticky. Wasn't enough to do the stretch test.0 -
Just a quicky as am at work.
Just had a bit of "pink", so I think that's me out. Looking at FF, I put an ovulation line on the day when I had those appendicitis-type pains plus EWCM, and today would be 12DPO. So all ties up. I think I must have ovulated late due to stress - must try to be more chilled this month (unlikely due to my exams at the start of April, but hey!)
My temp dropped quite a bit today too, but I haven't been temping long enough to know where my temps "should" be.
Back later!

No it doesn't, you have to pay for that AFIAK.
Good luck with your doctor today, and also with BBT & scales:):rotfl::rotfl:one of the best things about this thread has to be the things our OHs come out with while TTC!!!euronorris wrote: »It is gorgeous isn't it? And people wonder why I don't want to move back to the UK. How could I leave all this behind? lol
xx
We used to visit Holland and Belgium etc a lot when I was a kid (and they still used Guilders!). My parents used to live over there so were/are fluent, and we picked up a fair bit as a result. It's yonks since I've been properly though and forgotten LOADS now. I'll have to take DH over one day"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0
