Morning hope everyone is well today :)
Not a lot to report, due on today so a bit on edge, had awful heartburn on Saturday, Sunday and Monday i've never had it before in my life so was worried something was really wrong on saturday, a packet of rennie later and it seems to be all sorted, don't know what brought it on but at least it's gone!
Also been having quite bad stomach pains, not constant like a nipping sensation, all different places across my stomach, its painful enough to make me gasp. never had this before when period due but i've given up trying to work out what's going on with my body!

Me and DH met in high school, were introduced through a friend as he was a year older then me, we went out for about 6 months and broke up when he went to Uni. We were apart for a week before he moved back home and we've been together ever since. it took him 4 years to propose in Nov 2004 and after a few drinks on New Year we decided to run away to Prague in the March and do the deed-we did have a big party when we came home. That was 6 years ago this month-how time has flown!

    xx SBD to all xx

Rubbish. Just lost the reply I'd nearly finished!

It sounds like there are some positive signs out there (BB!) And try to keep your chin up QQ.

I am on CD 16 (i think) and got my first positive opk on Saturday. I think this means I ov'd on Sunday?!? We've BD'd every day since Friday, and no offence to hubby, but can we stop now?

    I'm tired lol!

    Morning ladies!

Welcome wannaberich and any other newbies I've missed!
tinksy - fingers crossed, hope the witch stays away!
BB - hope the witch stays away for you too! We need a few BFPs to keep the PMA up..!
phunkles - :rotfl:at OH being early!
QQ - hope your PMA is up today. Don't forget, sometimes these things happen when we least expect them...
bigzippy - good luck with docs
Darkphaery - hope AF stays away
Derby - I'm with you on the 'no more BD' front. I'm exhausted!

My DH will never watch OBEM after an episode a few weeks ago.... :rotfl: As for last night, it was a lovely one. I even cried when Mr Fish & Chips got teary about his dad :o and the lovely lady who had 4 mcs. It was lots of happy endings though. If you've never watched it before, last night was a good all-rounder :D

QQ - when does FF normally put in the ov point & coverline? Mine hasn't automatically happened yet and I thought it might go with CD7 (but not sure...) I did have a longer cycle the other month so, it could be that my temps haven't jumped high enough and perhaps I havent actually ov'd yet? I'm just being impatient :o

CD11(22) here. Still having ov-type pains and I could fill a hot air balloon with all this blowing off.. So lady-like :p

Hope everyone has a fab day! Keep up the PMA!!!

    Morning All!

BB - Back pain, definitely get it checked with your doctor if it is a recurring problem. It may well be just due to poor posture, or not enough exercise, but it's worth ruling out more serious problems as early as possible. I used to suffer with a lot of back problems, and after a lot of tests, found it was due to poor posture and weak muscles (caused by poor posture), so exercise has helped to remove the pain altogether. Although, I do notice that it starts to creep back after a few days of lying on the sofa when ill. Either way, it hope it goes away for you soon!

Jen - I am in Haarlem, which is quite close to Amsterdam (about 20 mins by train) but not too far from Leiden (about 30 mins by train). I know where Leiden is as it is on the same train track as my usual train and I got on the wrong train once and ended up in Leiden! lol. I love it here and Haarlem is gorgeous. Closest comparison I can think of is Bath in the UK. I think Haarlem managed to escape a lot of bombing during WW2 as Hitler apparently used it as a base at some point, so there are still lots of old, pretty buildings, surrounded by waterways. Love it! I could add some pics if you'd like? But don't wanna clog the thread up.

And me, well I went to see the doc today and discussed my options. I have decided on an IUD for the time being as it is hormone free, and will allow me to still have natural periods so I can get a better understanding of my cycle. I understand that it *can* cause heavier/more painful periods, but I figure this is worth a try and I'll see how it goes. It can be removed whenever I wish also, which is another reason I like it. So I'll have to go back and have that fitted at the end of my period (when it shows) and I have to take a suppository an hour before insertion which contains a panikiller and small amount of muscle relaxant to make the insertion less painful. I did also consider a diaphragm, but it seems quite messy and difficult to get right, so I wouldn't trust it. Anyway, we'll see how it goes.

Hope everyone has a good day. HUGS to all who need them and plenty of PMA and SBDTA!

OPK will show the LH surge, and one should ov 12-36hrs after the 1st positive, BUT, sometimes one could surge and not ov, and will surge again soon after, and ov after that. So it's important to keep BDing and temping to make sure you ov'd OK:o

thanks for the info QQ xx. and i remembered to temp this morning!! 36.23, will fill in FF when get home tonight

I think it's probably best to view them this way, otherwise the post would be huuuuugggeee! lol

There are some summer and winter (snow) pics in there, but they are mostly of the area closest to me. I walk over the bridge each day to get to the train station. It's lovely, especially in summer :D

I'd do one more on Friday just to be sure:cool:
(My DH would never be able to do that though, his swimmers needs at least 3 days to regroup...).

It usually puts the lines in after 3 consecutive high temps. Looking at your cm, you may be oving now?
