I hope I've not said anything to be insensitive, I certainly wouldn't ever mean it that way. I would be horrified if someone was upset by something I posted. :(

I just want to say I have a lot of respect for you ladies who continue to post after months and months of TTC. I don't like to comment usually because I don't know how you feel, and I admit that, but I would hate to think that we couldn't all be a part of this together.

  • as with the others I would hate to think that I had upset anyone with a silly post... I had fully expected to be here for ages and so am not counting chickens just yet (though mum's already sourced a cot for me aaaargh!)

i know that my both my cousins have had lengthy TTC (one took 6 years for #2 as R-ve & other 3 years but now expecting twins) all I can hope now is that each of you have your special babies soon and without too much more heartache - lets hope we all get there before Katie f*g Perry/Brand does :D

going to find it hard to tell some of my friends especially the single ones but hope that I'll be sensitive when the time comes
    love and sbdta xx

ps thank you to everyone for congrats really appreciate it
    team yellow :)
Can't wait to meet you now baby!

it does seem that celebrities never own up to fertility issues, I've never heard any of them say well we've been trying forever but nothing or were seeking fertility advice!!! It just never seems to happen the only celebs I've heard of worrying is Natalie Cassidy as she PCOS but fell really quickly!!! Ok thought of the day over! :)

phunkles - I know I wasn't trying for as long as you, and I have luckily fallen pregnant reasonably quickly both times, but I understand entirely what you mean. TTC is a life journey, and easier for some than others. I can't even try to understand how it must be to have been trying for so long; I just know how hard it was after my loss to see others get their BFP. And I know that makes me sound evil too, but I felt like "how is that fair?", "why do they deserve it and not me?".

Sometimes, the thread moves so fast, and there are always lots of people joining - the "community" is updated almost daily. As sad as it is, it is very easy for ocassional posters to be forgotten. Most of us don't have the time or inclination to post so often, and therefore be at the forefront of a train of thought.

The journey has been hard on me so far, and by no means as I even "there" yet, but I honestly hope that those that have been trying for so so so long/have had heartbreak already join me on the other side this year. And yes, that includes you phunkles. :o

As predicted, AF got me with a vengance this morning! So CD1 for me today - onwards and upwards! (PMA, PMA, PMA!)

    I hope I haven't caused offence to anyone :(

This is now my 5th cycle of trying since the mc. I think it's easy to get caught up in your own train of thought, especially when the 2ww/testing time comes. I'm sorry if I've been insensitive to anyone - it certainly wasn't my intention.

I agree with all of the above, well said debski. This was really playing on my mind in bed last night. No one should be made to feel left out no matter how long/short they have been TTC. I thought we were all in this together - hence the whole point of the thread?!?

    Morning ladies!
BFN for me this morning so I am wondering whether I've had a cycle where I didn't ovulate. Only time will tell! Onwards and upwards with PMA of course ;)
