  • Wowza lemon tree. 73days? I'd be going spare. Can your doc help? Hope you get some change soon (but not when staying with outlaws).

twilight, i am on metformin from the doctors but i'm not seeing it make much difference to be honest. A few months ago i was spotting daily for over 2 months so i feel better than those days but i still wish things would decide one way or another. Unfortunately i don't seem to be ovulating, not sure if this is the reason for the mega long cycle but it's not helpful when your TTC

    Morning girls

Lemon Tree - goodness me, that's a long cycle. Do you have plans to go back to the doctor? Surely they can do something to help shorten it? I'd be going out of my mind. (((((HUGS))))

Little Angel - hurrah for lots of BDing! Fingers crossed one of those little swimmers meets a nice playmate and settles down to make a life....... :)

PuzzledBubbles - congrats on your good news! What a relief. :) Everything crossed that a BFP is just around the corner for you.

Kellyg - hope you had a good night out last night. Enjoy the long Xmas break, you deserve a rest. :)

I Love Holidays - :T on the relaxed approach! It's easy to see every day just as a CD - much better to just roll with it (preferably around the bedroom.......:rotfl:)

Chez ddebski - CD14(29). EWCM arrived yesterday and so we BDed last night and plan to tonight again. Few lower belly/side cramps so am guessing OV is today (not temping or OPKs so can't be sure).

QQ - can I go on the testing list for 9th January? AF will be 2 days late by then, and DH is working away that following week so what a lovely going-away present a BFP would be!:T

    xDx
Fear is temporary, regret is forever.....

Lemon Tree, I may be heading your way in terms of long cycle, but I may take something to induce AF (norethisterone) before I see DH again in February:o

January 2011 BFP!:j Count me in (if I ever ov this year:o)
just a question someone (not sure who as i couldnt find the post) mentioned that they are going doctors after new year and as i am thinking of doing i didnt realise that they took a blood test to make sure you are ovaluting do they also test the man's s p e r m count if they have previously had a child albeit 12 years ago?
I think they do men's test whether they had a child before or not. A lot can happen in 12 years:o

CD1 for me  Really thought this would be our month as we DTD exactly on day of ov plus 2 days later just in case. Normally OH is working in Scotland when I ov, so thought we'd get a nice present on Xmas Day as that was my day to test. It's been 6 months now & I know the Dr won't help as it's too early but there has to be something wrong

Have been snowed in since Saturday - I've been working from home and OH is currently digging the cars & the main road so we can get out to my parents for Christmas. It's been so stressful & it kills me to think that might have been the reason it wasn't our turn this month.

Sorry for the down post, I'll be more positive after Christmas, I promise.

*hugggs* don't worry lovely, it wasn't meant to be this time, but who knows for next month. when the time is right it will be your turn. it is very disappointing when its CD1, but don't be hard on yourself. on the plus side - you can have a drink over xmas and new year!

fingers crossed all us waiting will get a BFP in January!

i have decided to be naughty and try again this cycle, as hospital haven't got back to me with a new appointment and have a feeling it wont' be til March or so.... can't bear to not TTC for that long.... too many missed opportunities!! watch this space :A

  • I posted this on another thread but thought would update:
I am now 10 days late and as many BFN (latest was with CBD this afternoon)! The nurse did a transvaginal scan last week Thursday and said she could see signs of a baby. It would be lovely to get a BFP to back it up. very worried still.
