Trying for a Baby Part Six

I'm an august baby too. Like QQ I used to enjoy family celebrations but missed celebrating with school friends. The plus side was never ever having to go to school on my birthday. It absolutely did not hold me back academically, it was just a bit of a pain around 16/17/18 when everyone else was learning drive or off out to pubs/clubs but I managed (lots of makeup and heels helped
). If I could chose any month, I'd prefer not to have a baby in august but I'm not going to fret and will be over the moon if i'm pg this month. I think there can be a big rush of babies being born in sept/oct so i may prefer to avoid that. December babies definitely get a raw deal and if your birthday is very early January then you're done in for life! I know someone with 2nd or 3rd Jan birthday - nobody ever wants to go out on that day.
QQ can you put me down to test on 25th nov? FF recommends waiting until 18dpo because it's my first month temping.0 -
:hello:
morning all.0 -
its different in Scotland, school cut off date is March, so the Jan/Feb birthdays are the youngest in the year.
Im an August baby and was right in the middle of the school year group0 -
Have kids in the house all day?:p
I do want child/ren, but not 24/7:D
I think she'll be a good propagandist though. Yesterday during the sermons at church she drew the following pictures:- "The baby" at the table with the three of us.
- "The baby" being carried in a sling by me
- "The baby" going for a walk with the three of us.
- Alice and "the baby" riding horses.

Doglover sorry to hear the witch got youShe seems to have been busy these past few days  Hopefully that means there's gonna be loads of BFP's in December
Well we're now officially half way through November and still no BFP's!! where are they all hiding? Come on ladies
Re the august baby thing, if i get pg this cycle my due date will be 2nd August then theres the high chance of going overdue so could be 18th August at latest, I'm not too worried as the school year in Scotland is different and the cut off is the 1st of March. And the chances of us living in scotland by then are quite high
CD33 for me, 6dpo :j Counting down the seconds to testing time :rotfl:
I'm well excited, you've gotta come see me when you get up here!!!You can always home-educate. Then you tailor the education to your child and school years are irrelevant.
Bring on the child geniuses most of them are home schooled and then go onto Oxford of Cambridge!!! Can I have one??? :rotfl:its different in Scotland, school cut off date is March, so the Jan/Feb birthdays are the youngest in the year.

I'm a July baby and loved it, we did nothing in the last week of school my dad would always bring in birthday cakes and sweets for a party in the afternoon of school!!! my teachers loved it because they knew there would be a stack of birthday cake in the staff room!!! No exaggeration my dad could feed the entire school with the size of his birthday cakes!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::heartsmil Engaged 31st May 2008 :heartsmil

Morning everyone!
I haven't been on in about a week, but I just read everything back and can't believe we haven't had a BFP this month yet!
I have had a horrid time lately, my grandmother is ill (we think she has a brain tumour) so I had to take a few days off work last week to go back home and see her. She had no idea who I was, it was very sad. Then last night I end up spending 4 hours in A & E due to a bad asthma attack so I'm not in work today either!
Im on CD 12 and still low on CBFM. Last month I ov'd on CD 12/13! Do you think the stress could have delayed ovulation or is it normal for it to be different every month?
Not sure if anyone will know, but I'm now on steroids and antibiotics for a week, any ideas if that will effect ovulation/TTC in any way?
Baby dust to all and hugs to those that need them.

My doctor said stress delayed my ov this cycle, but what stress?
I think it's just that I got resistant to Clomid, and gone back to my usual ov pattern:oNot sure if anyone will know, but I'm now on steroids and antibiotics for a week, any ideas if that will effect ovulation/TTC in any way?0 -

aww you poor thing!! You've been on a right rollercoaster, haven't you!!! (((HUGS))) hope your feeling beeter soon!!!
With regards to stress delaying your ov then its very likely with all the stress you've been under lately!!!
With reards to antibiotices (never been on them before) the only information I have is that if you were on the pill they would make it null and void as the ingredients in it switch the pill off so i'd be saying go for it!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::heartsmil Engaged 31st May 2008 :heartsmil

Thank you both
I'll do some googling!
I was going to ask the Doctor but I got all a bit embarassed lol.
To be honest, 2010 just hasn't been my year. Miscarriage in March, we were supposed to get married in July & we cancelled it 2 weeks before (we almost split up), then my Nan etc...I am just looking forward to 2011!!
Do we have any testers this morning? I so need some good news!
