:rotfl: Although if you were me it would be quite disturbing that I was talking to myself through an alter ego.

Strangely enough Ive seen people do this on online forums it gets really worrying

:shhh:I might have a job interview next week but that would mean ttc would be put further back on the back burner so far back it would fall off confuseddotcom
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?

Oh you've all brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for the positive thoughts.

I need to have two months of normal periods (fingers crossed) and during that time I will be getting fitter and eating better. I cycled London to Brighton this year (which makes me sound fit, but I'm not), so I'm hoping I can get on my bike again and really make a go of it.

My daughter is also desperate - I thank my lucky stars that her stepdad and her are on the same side, both eager to bully me to get going!

There are twins on OH side of the family (his sister) but she said she had some help. There are also twins a couple of generations back on mine. I am hoping not, lol!!!

I'm taking folic acid, my nurse is adorable - is there anything else I should be doing pre trying-to-conceive. I've kind of forgotten everything with a hormonal pre-teen on my hands!
Forever I will sail towards the horizon with you

I've never known anyone say they wish they'd waited later to have children and I've known lots of people say that their unplanned children were the best thing that ever happened to them.

Nearer AF then it's most likely to be pre AF spotting (nothing to worry about), but 9DPO? Could be implantation, fingers crossed:)

i do only have an 11 day luteal phase, so it could be either.

I was wondering what was going on, I read Jewel's separate thread this morning, so when I logged on tonight I was ever so confused as to why it seemed to be merged to the ttc thread.

Anyway, welcome Jewel, and good luck with ttc. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a baby in your forties. At the end of the day it would be a much wanted baby, and surely that is far better than someone having an unwanted baby in their 20's?

Phunkles that's a very very hard decision to have to make. I don't envy you :(

Evening to all you other lovely ladies. Hope everyone is well and has managed to stay dry the horrid weather that is out there  It seems at the moment that it rains really heavily 8.45am - 9.15am then 3.30pm - 4pm, just around the time of the school run. Not that I have children, but I always think of my poor nieces walking to and from school. I managed to finish work early today and went to pick them up in the car, but we still got drenched just running to the car :(

Yes, it confused me a bit!! x All the abbreviations look foreign to me, lol. I'm reading all of these posts - I can't wait to try, I have to wait a bit. My OH doesn't have any biological children but has brought my daughter up since she was two. They are really close and my daughter wanted to know all about the coil, periods, tampons and sperm tonight (she's 11 and did sex ed last year at at school). I feel like it's a family project lol!

i also got confused by the merging of threads but welcome Jewel!!

The weather is horrible here but I wish we would have some form of thunderstorm during the day - i love a good storm :D even better if it takes out power to my office :D the weather seems to follow me home as I walk to my car and then drive and then hit my house later in the evening which at least means im inside in the dry but i wish it wasn't so cold!!

  • Evening all,

We had an almighty thunderstorm this morning at around 8am - the lightning lit up the whole sky. Loads of heavy rain as well, but thankfully it's eased up now.

Can't wait to test tomorrow! Been SSing something rotten today - *tmi alert* had really watery discharge over the last couple of days, don't recall having that before. Also had a bit of lower back ache, and my bangers have been a bit tingly. I won't stress if it's bfn though, my cycles are a bit weird at the moment, and I'm not even convinced that I ov'd this month :o Time will tell...

((Hugs)) to Lemon Tree & Phunkles xx

Welcome to Jewel - at last someone who will have a bigger age gap than me. Best of luck!!
