My GP told me that the brown blood is the wall lining of the uterus coming away, the red blood is caused by the blood vessels leading to the uterus opening and flushing fresh blood through to help clear the wall lining from the uterus. How much red blood is released depends on how much your vessels open. Mine are like oil gushers, hence very heavy periods.

2 months ago I think I didn't ovulate judging by OPKs, I had a pain free, fairly light period.

WW thank you for your info, it's very interesting and makes sense. I don't know if I ov'd last month as I wasn't looking out for it. At least this cycle I am armed with the tools needed to find out if I ov.

Mrsvicx don't stress about early testing. Most of here have at some stage. Wishing you tons of luck for tomorrow

    Morning ladies :)

Good luck for those testing tomorrow, everything crossed!

I am cycle day 9 today and got a second high on the CBFM. We BD on Thurs night and will again tonight. I'm going for every other day. Does anyone else find it hard not to just want to do it every day?? I know its better for the swimmers if we don't though :)

Also, does anyone feel a bit guilty that they are now alot more interested in initiating sex with OH, just because you're trying? I mean, it was always fine but I just feel a bit bad, like I am using him for his swimmers only! lol.
He wants to try and everything, he is just a bit more relaxed about it than me :)

  • Hey ladies,

I'm going to see my sister friends 2 month old baby tonight with DH!!! Really looking forward to seeing her and we've bought her the cutest little duffle jacket for the winter she's gonna look gorge!!!

On the not so upside my friend from work confided in me today that she's 10 weeks pregnant but I couldn't help feeling gutted that when she told me she wasn't interested in being pregnant, i wanted to hold her and shake her!!! She was taken into hospital as they thought it might be ectopic so I'm hoping its just that, that has overshadowed her happiness!!! Her DH is over the moon though so thats great news!!! So she perked up after 6 weeks but I had a desperate impulse to run from her after she told me (to my shame!!)

And I got a parking ticket today!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

ooohhh good luck for tomorrows testing MrsV. Fingers firmly crossed for you :)

I recvd my 3rd pack of opk's this cycle (£30 so far), wasn't going to get anymore but chanced it and just so happens, did one as soon as they hit the letter box (as you do) and it was posetive, so hoping there's a chance ov on the way. Really hope so anyway as at Doctors Tuesday and was planning to get something to bring on af being CD74 and all! fingers crossed won't need too now. so its X Factor night and hopefully a little loooove making later ;)

Lots of luck QQ glad to hear it didn't hurt and as others have said hope that one little strong boy makes it where he needs to be ;)

Hi everyone else, sorry not familiar with names yet but lots of dust to you all!

Thanks for all the good wishes, I've tried to stay away this pm so as not to drive myself crazy!!
Still no af, little tummy cramping, nothing too noticeable though, and tmi, a teeny little bit of browny colour mucusy stuff when I wipe. Sorry, that sounds gross when I read it back!!
