Thankyou QQ but I'm pretty certain that this isn't the month. We didn't work at making a bfp this month so I won't be disappointed if af shows (although a bfp would be amazing obviously!!).

I have got nothing to SS so far either apart from usual af symptoms.

I hope your non ttc fairly minor worries have sorted themselves out.

But how do you know the temps are high if you haven't been doing temping all month -as a newbie it would mean nothing to me to take temps for just a week or so a month.
In my case, I take Clomid so first 10 days of temping is pretty useless (temps are high):o
I could start at CD10 and end at 3DPO, and I can see the shift.
But you are right, for a newbie, it might be hard.

    Morning all :)

9dpo today - did a sneaky test this morning, BFN

Was very positive about it this month, but it's still too early so going to wait a couple of days.
    Be patient:o

    Morning all.

I've all my little ones home today, one been sick in night, one with high temp and one with a bad cold. I'm also full of cold and due one. ( i'm 2 days late, but first one since stopping pill, so i know it gonna be all over place) so it a day of duvets and hot water bottles and disney dvd's i think. hubby got a cold coming but gone to work to escape the germ's,lol. I was planning on having a blitzing day, so might do that later, as i not the type of person who can sit still.

QQ we've had loads of spiders recently. i'm sure they were transulars. whats really bad is i've got a dyson so you can't even suck them up as they stare back at you !!!lol.

fiesty wow thats quick to see a midwife. how fantastic for you, bet your so exicted. get ready for all your form filing. It suddenly makes it seem so much more real.

with my last two i don't think i saw a midwife until about 10 or 11 week's. but then part of that was my doing as i didn't tell the midwife till about 10 ish weeks. as i knew it would be a killer for me waiting ages for the first scan. doing it the way i did, i only had a few days to wait, lol.

Trouble is jcr some regions are behind on their scans - my colleague found out she was pregnant & told the midwife at 7 weeks - she still had to wait until 14 weeks for her scan!
  • Hi all, I posted a little while ago and now dont really know what to do!

I took my last pill last night and am thinking....should that be it or should I do one more month.

I just feel confused, I would love to start a family I really would but the other part of me is saying, can we afford it, is it time, what about my job. :o

I know it wont be something that would happen immediately but my mother fell pg missing one pill.......now that scares me.....

discuss it with your hubby, see what he think's.

me personally i'd stop now , because there is no right/perfect time. just times which can be better than other's. but only u and your hubby know your situation fully to make the right choice for the both of you. you have 7 days to decide while you have your monthly pill break. so in those days have a real heart to heart.

your right you may fall that month. i did with my son. i stopped my pill and waited for my AF but it never came. but with out first baby it took a year for anything to happen. there is nothing set in stone.

i wish i was able to give you some real words of wisdom, but all i can do is give you advice from experiance.

    Hi ladies

How are you all? im going to try really hard to be a poster instead of a lurker.lol so massive post coming up!!

Unfortunatly i will be joining you again soon. Me and OH had been TTC for 10mnths when i got my BFP, but i had a missed miscarriage at 11.5 weeks, only found out at scan, and had a Evac on tues 5th. Physically i have been fine, no cramps, minimal bleeding since op so i think that has helped me deal with it a lot better. we have decided to start trying as soon as AF turns up, so i am praying it doesnt take long. does anyone have any experience of this? how long did yours take?

Also i am scared stiff it will happen again, although i know there is no greater chance of it happening to me than anyone else, i suppose it is just natural to feel that way!

so for now i am going to follow you ladies for tips until we can try again.

    Thanks

Thanks Feisty and what a lovely dose of PMA you delivered!! I will be stalking your preg! Massive congrats!!

QQ tell those naughty spiders to run off (they've got more than enough legs to do it quickly). Your egg is safely tucked up though. Glad the other probs got sorted.

I'm v sorry for forgetting your name but the lady who isn't sure, I'd suggest coming off the pill but ask your DH to wear a jacket for a while until you're certian. It's right to give it lots of thought but at the same time my mum got preg in the 1st month with me and i'm at (almost) cycle number 7 so you never know. Everyone is different. Have a good chat with your DH and get your sums sorted so you that when you fo get preg you can enjoy it rather than stress. Hth.

I'm so sorry about your mc(((hugs))).

    I had a mc at 10 weeks (baby stopped at 9 weeks) and had d & c.
I had what looked like AF 2 weeks later, but after that, I ov'd at CD23 (I am a late ov'er) and had proper really mega heavy AF 15 days later at CD38.

We decided to wait ttc 3 months after my mc since we had work things happening at that time, I regret it now, since I would have been extra fertile after mc:o

Luby - so sorry about your news. Sending you a big fat sprinkle of baby dust!

CD19 for me today, still low on cmfm (was high at CD18 last month) but my cycles are usually anything between 30 and 40 days..... Shame I wasted OH's super stuff in the middle of last night - lol. At least he'll get the night off later..... :-)
