    Welcome to Team Sticky!

As for CBFM, something must have gone wrong:(
There's 2 lines, the one on the pee end is LH, and if that is strong, Peak.
The other end is Estrogen. When that is light it is High.

    Hope you BD'd regardless:o

Thanks. I will keep an eye out for these lines but (and apologies if i'm being stupid here) if you can read the sticks without the monitor, why do we pay £50+ for the machine?

I figured something must have gone wrong with it. Hopefully next month will be better, and at least it meant I used less sticks this month. We did BD once on the first peak (with the preseed). Other than that DH was "too tired" - which did lead to quite a big argument with me getting upset and accusing him of not really wanting a baby!

Jcr - the CBFM just tells you when your fertility is at a high or peak level so you know when to concentrate your BDing efforts. With us, we have been trying for what seems like ages to conceive, obviously with no luck. We are hoping it's just an issue of always BDing at the wrong times of the month because there's nothing wrong with his swimmers and I seem to be ovulating so it will be reassuring to know exactly when I am ovulating (and to check I am) and to take away the potential problem with timing.

ah thankyou . for me i think it might take the fun away from it, hubby might feel under pressure . if i knew when the time was right. we like to be spontanous and might not do it for a couple days, then do it 3 or 4 times a night. but then we been like this the whole 9 years we been together.

having said that when it took 18 months to fall for our youngest, i can imagine how hard it must be for some who are desprate and willing to give anything a go.

isn't it amazing that there are the machine now that can give you all this fantastic information.

a friend of mine couldn't get preg, tried for years, then had ivf and all failed. they gave it one last shot and nothing. so they said thats it. within a yr she naturally fell preg with twins and just after they turned 1 she found out she was preg again. she was over the moon as you can imagine.

Congrats pebblespop, madbird, Mrs White, Perdi & Feisty!!!

    :kisses:

    so happy for you!!

lots of lovely little 7/11 babies to come! :j

hope to be joining you this month! am not too scientific about the process but from my calculations should have been OV around saturday so BD'd all weekend. had some EWCM - i think? - on Saturday morning. is it similar to the glue/gum that sticks things to the front of magazines?! fingers crossed for everyone else TTC & congrats again to the new mums to be

    xxx

sorry for sounding dim, but i not sure i understand why so many are POAS and the temp thing's, and the monitors etc

i only ever POAS when i was late and suspected i was preg. why would i need to do it middle of the month?
I do it because of my irregular cycles (never know when I ov), and also by the request of DH who has low drive:o
If we could BD every other day throughout the month, we don't need them;)

    Thanks QQ. What about epo?
I've never taken them. I'd stop after ov incase it might do harm to the baby;)

    We don't really need them:p
Good idea to poas anyway if you miss a day on CBFM since one can read them anyway;)

I'd call it sticky cm, mine usually get a lot runnier, like egg white near ov.
Also, that area gets swollen around ov too. I check it when I wash that area in the shower;)

Jen Team Sticky is people using pre-seed or similar lube that is supposed to help swimmers to the egg. It worked for me although I didn't "need" extra moisture or anything :)
