I would love to give you the answer, but i have issues understanding my own OH and i know him better than he knows himself sometimes lol

I know my OH sometimes initiates as he wants to feel loved (when really he could just as for a cuddle as i do lol)
Hmmm.... Cuddle would've been million times better than yesterday's performance:o

We need male members, if any man is lurking, enlighten us!:p
managed to read the cervical mucus bit without stopping to save my squeemishness and now know what to look for (although im not sure i will be testing it quite yet:o)
It is good practice to notice these things before ttc, so you know what's normal for you;)

Also, we symptom spot like mad during the 2 week wait (between ov and AF), so it's good idea to find out what pms you normally have:cool:

Aww QQ that sucks, Viagra cake sounds like a great idea ;) Is there maybe something particular you could do that tickles his fancy coincedently around OV time to get him keen?

My OH DTD around OV time and nothing since, I think its very hard for it to not affect your sex life and there is nothing worse than knowing you need to DTD but not being in the mood, the pressure spoils it i think :(
I wonder if it's ok to cook viagra?:rotfl:

I'm going to ask about IUI next time I see the doctor. IUI is where you put DH's swimmers directly inside the cervix using a catheter:o

People use it if they have male factor problems (DH's is less than optimal), and/or problem with cm (sperm killer cm). I don't know if I have killer cm though, maybe I do:o
  • Wow, away for a couple of days and i return to 3 BFPS!! Congrats to Pebbles, MadBird and Mrs White.

There must be something in the water cos as well as my SIL and BIL announcing their unexpected bump, i got a text from my cousin today telling me she's also growing a baby!

Now...dare i say it out loud...., i am sooo happy for my SIL and cousin but is it wrong for it to be a lil bittersweet as it seems so unfair? I now their bubba's are gonna be loved and cherished but it seems that it always happen's to people who aren't planning/trying when me and OH want one so bad :(

Sorry for the downer guys but just feeling sooo unbelieveably broody and everyone seems to be blooming preggers :(

Does anyone have any spare/extra PMA they could send my way?

QQ - don't know if you tried this but would it worth you not telling your OH when your ov so as to take some of the pressure off which might help with the ahem, deposit :)

QQ - glad to hear the injection went well today, made me quiver inside to think about it hurting afterwards (needle phobia BIG TIME) :)

May be he's finding it a little hard and feels a little inadequate, especially if he has it on his mind constantly. He's probably starting b'ding knowing that he's got to come up trumps and therefore the pressure is having the opposite effect. Have you tried letting him into thinking you're having a break from it all and going o-natural, obviously keeping all of your appointments and records but give him a little time to put it to the back of his mind, THEN POUNCE ON HIM when he least expects it ;)

I wish you lots of luck though for ov next week :)

  • ....And to top it off my boobs are so blooming sore i could scream.

Grrrr, i thought theyr were only meant to be so sore in the lead up to AF not the week after, just another way of my body telling me it aint gonna play ball

Sorry for the mega-rant guys, just so down.....think i need an extra large helping of PMA after that!

QQ, my DH is on v i a g r a due to 'side effects' of diabetes however, doesn't sound as bad as your OH - why doesn't he want to try it? Mine couldn't wait and finds it great fun ;0) - he darn near wore me out last Saturday night (and Sunday morning...) :rotfl:
I guess sometimes they get the urge but just can't complete - tbh it's only happened twice with us but the Dr put him straight onto the 'ickle blue pills. It's not scary and it won't make him automatically 'hard' for 12 hours or anything - there still needs to be 'stimulation' ;):D

    Evening all,

Docs ok, have to stop my blood pressure tablet and told me off for not saying TTC.....er I did. Wanted me to stop my anti depressant but I'm concerned about slipping to the horrid place I was 9 months ago. With that she said that if the benefits are better then its ok.

Congratulated me on my weight loss and is sure that helped make me more fertile, plus the xenical tabs can help make you fertile. I've lost all but a stone in a month!!!:j:j Now says not allowed to lose weight but I'm allowed just to carry on eating healthily. Told me to stay relaxed and enjoy...and not to worry.

Filled in form for midwife, I'm going to be classed as high risk due to age, weight and blood pressure, so will be under consultant obstetrician and probably medical docs as well.

Handed that in at reception and got given a Bounty pack with all the info, Midwife/maternity notes etc. Wasn't expecting that so early. Midwife will ring or write to me with appointment.

Oh and she wouldn't give me anything for man flu! Just told me to have hot lemon and honey....so just lemon as can't stand honey.

Think I'm off to bed soon as got shivers again and it nearly finished me off going to docs.

I really hope you all get BFPs soon. It still seems so unreal at the moment...I'm dreading telling my mum, how could I be so irresponsible at 39!!

Re the bloke thing....don't take no for an answer, do it early evening if can so can't say tired, and make it out you are doing them a favour!! And on your part if you don't think you are ov'ing try a different OV test kit. I'm sure I would have missed my OV days otherwise.

Can I hang around like fanta please....I still don't believe I'm pregnant. I don't feel pregnant. But 2 tests say I am!
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:

Is viagra water soluble? of course dear your tea is meant to be slightly blue ;)

Ask away Puzzledbubbles :) Roughly once or twice a month (twice if im lucky) normally for 3-5 days depending on mine/his work commitments :(
    It could be worse :)

LOL at madbird and worrying telling your mum :) shell be made up im sure :)

Im having a christmas dvd moviethon tonight
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

If only it were that simple!! :o

QQ I think when men are really stressed about DTD at OV time, then it can affect DTD at any time. Maybe he initiated it because he wanted to prove to himself that he could rise to the occasion when not BD'ing? Unfortunately if that was the case, then it backfired :(

Us women are very lucky in that we don't have to 'perform' when DTD, so it's hard to understand or sympathise if OH has performance anxiety.

I imagine that it is really difficult for a man to ask his GP for v i a g r a as it strikes at the very core of his manliness. Also, as I understand it v i a g r a may not work if the man is stressed or feels under pressure. Therefore taking the blue pill and having it not work would just add to his sense of futility.

Sorry if that offends or upsets, but I'm just being realistic. It's a very difficult and frustrating situation for you both. :(

Although were trying this is the only place i'm saying that we are, and when i do fall we want to keep it to ourselfs until i show for personal reason's. but it feels so nice that i'll have somewhere where i can natter to others in our situation.

we both been wanting another baby for a while. but decided as we had alot on to wait a while. even now we do still have alot on. but it just feels right.

i am of course a bit scared that something may go wrong , but i also feel quite excitied.
