Trying for a Baby Part Six

Firstly, HUGE Congrats to madbird!!!! That's fantastic news, well done.

Secondly, I'm pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still seems very unreal to say/write those words! But the test was clear as clear can be. In fact the little plus sign started showing up as I was putting the cap back on the test after peeing on it - it showed up before the control line to say the test had worked!

I woke up at 5.30am & needed the loo, but I couldn't bear to wake OH up at that time on his day off, so I tried to go back to sleep. Woke up again at 7am, even more desperate, so woke him up & told him I was going to do the test. He said he needed to go first, so he went to the loo & then went back to bed! & then I went & did the business, & I was really calm then & had a really really strong feeling it was going to be positive, so it didn't seem a shock at all when it was. I was a bit concerned that the plus sign came up so quickly, so I went & cleaned my teeth to give it a couple of minutes to make sure it was definitely working! Then I took it back into the bedroom & said to OH "guess what? I think we're having a baby!"

I was crying & felt really shell-shocked, OH was just beaming & so happy & proud! We had a bit of a chat about it all, then we had a shag, because I don't want him to think I'm not interested now I've got what I wanted lol! Then he went back to sleep for a while & I just lay snuggled up in his arms finally allowing myself to think about the fact that I'm pregnant & all the changes & amazing experiences coming our way over the next 9 months.

Oh, & 1 last thing, we only BDed twice around the time I thought I was OVing, so as you know I wasn't overly hopeful, but as it turns out I think we did it on just the right day, which also turned out to be the day of our 6th wedding anniversary!

You know, if you book the holiday, you'll end up pg and cancelling the hols, while if you don't book the holiday, you may end up regretting it:o

What is the cancellation policy? If it is only the case of losing a bit of deposit...?
