Hi Everyone, been away from the thread for a really long time, been lurking though, had a really low patch, didn't get the job at work and really felt the need to try hard at TTC, however on my fifth CBFM cycle and no peaks yet ever anf today is CD16 (I'm fearing the worst, no OV), DH and I are now DTD less than before we were TTC and every time I mention it I think it'll get worse, DH is very supportive, but has a low drive, so its not that he doesn't want to, but if I force it when he's not in the mood he can't finish, which makes us both feel worse, and its not like my fertile period is happy to come only at weekends and when he's very in the mood!
As you can tell I'm very frustrated, it'll be a year trying in December, but came off the pill last August and never used any other form of protection, just left it to fate and I know that should it come to visiting the docs I will be sent away to lose weight (which I've been doing, but its a very long way to go!)
Sorry about the NMA, it doesn't help that bumps are everywhere at the moment.
Anyway hope everyone is ok, Madbird & Mrs W, hope the are BFPs for you tomorrow!

Thanks everyone. Yes OH knows, he is in denial and guess like me he knows the next few weeks are crucial and will refuse to get excited until 12 weeks. I think he is ok....!!

Ok so what did it for me

    1. Ignore CBFM - it never showed my peak!
    2. Wellman Conception/pregnacare conception.
    3. Preseed
    4. Tesco OV strips from CD11 or 12 could clearly see the lines get darker over a 3 day period - CDs 17,18,19, until CD21 when faded.
    4. BD every evening from CD 16 until 21.

    er thats it!

as for ss'ing....been aching like AF due since CD22...thats about it!

I have been lol, so far in the last 6 months we have got it down from "sometime next year" to February, to possibly Deceember.

I am trying really hard not to badger him about it, he is ready in every way possible - but has admitted that he is kinda scared about how he will financially provide for us and look after us - its just trying to get him to see what i see, a wonderful man who would do anything.

Ive even tried the argument of "i want a baby so am not going to activly prevent it, if you dont, use a condom"

Needless to say, it didnt work lol
I see - I guess my suggestion wouldn't be a good idea then. My husband worried about finances - I actually went so far as producing a detailed budget for everything I thought we would need in the first year and a general budget projection for twenty years to reassure him. (But I am a bit spreadsheet mad.)

Hehe, well, ill try it again :) We are making a lot of progress, but its just a case of us both being 100% happy with the stopping of the pill.

I think that if i were able to get pregnant by suprise he would be happier becuase the decision is gone if that makes sense, he wants the pregnancy, the baby and everything else, he just doesnt want to be the one to make it happen.

Dont worry thought, we are getting there :)
