Does anybody use the amazon ones (link on the first page).


I bought, ahem, a lot of them - and they just dont seem to be all that good. CBFM says LH Surge, Tesco (£7 for 7 OPKs) say LH surge, but the amazon ones, although there is a line - it's not as dark as or darker.


Anyvody else have that problem? I do like the tesco ones, maybe I will stick to them!

I had the same issue with my amazon ones I now use the CB digi ones at least I know where I stand

What do you all use?

I use the amazon ones 2b. I use them because they're MUCH cheaper than all the other ones and my cycle is all over the place because of the pcos. I tend to have to POAS over 10-15 days to make sure I catch when I ovulate, as I seem to ov really late in my cycle (CD20-25). They do seem to be much fainter than the boots OPKs that I bought the first time, but now I'm used to them I basically assume that the moment there is any kind of visible line, I'm about to peak. So I start to POAS twice a day. The best line I've had so far has been as dark as the test line only on 1 half of the result line.

I've really found that if I don't follow the instructions exactly then the lines are much, much fainter. I have to make sure I POAS late afternoon (usually around 5pm) and don't drink or pee for at least two hours beforehand (3 hours would be even better!) and even then the lines are not as good as the ones on the other OPKs I used. So basically, I think if you can afford to use shop bought OPKs then they are much better than the Amazon ones, but the Amazon ones do work if you know what to look for.

Same for me, I use the Amazon ones and then when I get the line I do a CB Digi and hope for the smiley and then dance like I am on strickly:j
I did find that the later I did the amazon ones the better and leaving to get to room temp helped.

I am the same with the cheap ones (haven't tried any others). I only got lines that were lighter but I got EW CM and ovulation pains so am pretty sure I did ovulate when I had the lighter lines. I had a temperature rise this morning and did an OPK a minute ago that didnt show anything so must be all over now. Fingers crossed I caught it this time! :0)

hello lovely ladies. Haven't posted in a few days but not much to report here, except that after peeing on the cheapy Amazon opks since last Thursday, finally got a very faint line this evening :j
So I'll try another 3 tomorrow and another 3 the day after and hopefully I'll get a darker line at some stage, so I'm guessing I'll OV on Friday but will keep you posted. I know, the suspense of it all....:p

Hi ladies. I'm still in limbo, no AF yet, going to test again tomorrow, or if I can make myself wait, then Thursday. I am out all day tomorrow so if I can just stop myself doing it in the morning then I can wait another day.

Been scouring my diary for what happened last time I was PG (sadly threw my old diaries out a few months ago, wish I'd kept them now!) and I see that I was due on day 34 (I always just put whatever my cycle has just been, as otherwise there's no way of knowing where I am) but I didn;t test positive till day 39.

This time, day 39 is Sunday, so perhaps I need to wait till then?! Not a chance though, lol, will definitely test at least once before Sunday! Still, it gives me hope.

I've edited the list with the requests that have been on since I last posted so that fannyanna has an accurate list to quote from when she does her list tomorrow.

I've had spotting all day today, so I suspect I will be CD1 tomorrow. I will post tomorrow to let you know fannyanna. Was really hoping not to have to go into cycle 6 of trying, but it looks like we're going to have to. I think Moon is just as disappointed.

divorcingjack, I wasn't sure what cycle day you were on, or whether you're days past ovulation either, so I've just put you onto the bottom of the daily list with a ? and awaiting ovulation for the moment.
