I have the same problem :D

And me. My department's Associate Director (my line manager) was leaning over my shoulder looking at an OS plan on my computer a couple of days ago and I suddenly realised that it quite clearly said 'trying for a baby' at the bottom of my screen. Oh well!

Good luck Gopppers, pesky things making you squint! Maybe a couple of days and then do a digi?

RebekahR, I leave it there - just go to sleep like that (or stick my knickers back on, depending where we are ;)) and clean up later. Give it the maximum amount of time to do its job!

I've had a bit of a mixed day today - my mum's cat (which I grew up with) was put down today, at 17 - she was riddled with cancer and had been going a bit doolally for a couple of months. It was expected but still sad, and I called DH who was spectacularly unhelpful and I ended up arguing with him then crying at the bus stop. But it's ok now, we've made up (and it was mainly him being a bit useless with knowing what to say).

But on the up side, I went to see a dental surgeon today at the hospital and she doesn't want to drill into my jaw to take a root tip off. So that's nice :)

Hope everyone's well and having good days - it's very very nearly Friday evening!

Do you go to the loo after? Do you just sleep with it in? What happens if you go to loo some time after is it just the semen that goes because spermies have already swam up or does the whole lot go?

Just whats a girl to do ...

If it's around OV time, I get a tissue and put it down there to keep most of it in. Then lie on the bed for 30 mins with my bum under a pillow so my body is slightly tilted. Might doze off...

After 30 mins, I get up and pee. I have had about 5 urinary infections over the past 3 years. After the last one, my doctor suggested I might go to the toilet after sex. This was something of a revelation to me, I used to just fall asleep afterwards. I haven't had another infection since he told me this and I took his advice.

Anyways, I did a test this morning on an IC, but not sure if a faint line appeared or not!! I think there was a very faint line, barely there but after a lot of squinting, I gave up and left for work.

There is still no sign of AF so still not really sure!!

DH and I will be going to the shops tomorrow where we have decided to get a "proper" test. So will have to give it another go tomorrow if AF still hasn't showed up... I'm 13DPO so not sure if i have tested too early?? QQ??

    Will keep you ladies posted!

    Gops x

    PS has LittleZ tested again?
    Oooh fingersx.gif

I've not tested again...yet :rotfl: I ran out of HPTs...new lot is here today ;) I really don't think it's happening this cycle though, cos boobs are back to normal, and I'm still spotting etc... not sure what's going on but it's doing my head in! duh.gif

I think that's just to indicate the start of the fertile period - don't think she has updated it since CD15

I did wonder about that after I'd posted my question. Maybe she's gone on holiday...

Hope you get an answer one way or another soon.
Thanks, I think I already have my answer...I just don't want to believe it :o

Awww! Hopefully your awesome weight loss has kicked in your ov-ing good and proper and it won't take you long to catch that eggie! :)

Sorry to hear about your mum's cat. I had the same a few months ago with my dad's dog. She was like one of my best friends when I was growing up and been though I didn't see her as much anymore I still loved her and was sad when she went.

    Evening all,

Sorry to hear about the spotting littleRzippy.

fannyanna what are you going to do for your period party?

Sorry to hear about the puddytat Sa-ra-ra-ra I hope it was a peaceful passing.

Rebekah I usually lie there with a tissue like norabatty for 20 minutes or so after with a pillow under my bottom, then go to the loo afterwards.

How are you doing emsbet? Hope the pregnancy is going well. Don't worry about being symptomless - one of my friends didn't have any morning sickness or any symptoms (other than her boobs growing and a tiny baby bump) throughout her whole pregnancy, and her baby was fine and healthy.

No news here - still in 2ww. Went into town today as I was getting fed up with Moon's awful hair - he hadn't had it cut since before our wedding in April, and it was at a tiny ponytail stage, so we got it cut, then he bought me lunch from Boots and we sat by the cathedral listening to a small group of teenagers playing their guitars and singing (they were quite good), before he bought me a Thornton's ice cream cone (we are still both so stuffed from lunch that we are just having beans on toast for dinner tonight).

2ab3c I'm pleased your new donor was so nice - I hope this cycle is your successful one.

Goppers I hope you get a BFP soon then.

Hugs to all who want or need them, and welcome to the newcomers - there are a lot of ladies on here who are a font of knowledge - hopefully (in the nicest possible way - BFP) your stay will be short here.

I got a positive on an OPK this afternoon!!! My first one ever!!! Does that mean I have OV'd today or that I will be doing soon? We BD'd tonight before he went to work as well as yesterday and Thursday. Will try to again tomorrow.

    I was very excited!!!

Yay for the OPK lisa - a positive means that you will ovulate in the next 24-36 hours I believe, but I'm sure someone will be along with a more definite answer for you.
